First time listening. I think it would help you to edit down some of the larger pauses.

My 3rd great grandfather was wounded and captured at this battle. He later died at Point Lookout, MD POW camp. He was in the 4th NC Company E under Rodes' Brigade who was supporting this battle.

Wow, I wish I found this sooner! I’m a big CW history nut and this just popped up on my feed. My family has ties back to Gen. Barnard Bee Jr, so naturally CW history is a fascination of mine. Keep up the great content!

1. When Lee does not give an endorsement it’s a bad pick. Davis needed to pick Hardee at this point no matter. Beauregard? 2. HOOKER is the senior who deserved the command after McPhersons death. Logan Was Not West Point and West Pointers discriminate against non West Pointer’s. Sherman’s hate for Hooker is Why Hooker was passed over.

I disagree on the part of the missouri guerillas not having rules, they played like they jayhawkers played. Quantrill was one of the most brillant caprians in that war

I live here in tullahoma and I love civil war history ,I'd like to find the exact locations of these troop encampments I metal detect for relics and turn them in to the civil war museum so they can be enjoyed by everyone for decades to come . I do not believe in profiting off someone else's hardship and believe me these men knew hardship on both sides of the campaign

This series continues its excellence, e.g. in interlacing the feel, detail and weekly circumstances that those living at the time would have experienced, with side trips that begin an appreciation of the overarching macro elements of the war and biographies which will be emerging full force later in the series. Continued bravos!

Wow!!!!!!!!! Excellent. This series seems perfect for the stage I am at, in tying together and usually adding more information re. the individual elements (politics, battles, biographies etc) I've learned, absorbed to date, from the internet. Bravo!

My great great grandfather was captured at the battle of Tulahoma. He was in Co. A Dreux's cavalry, Braggs Escort, a unit raised on New Orleans. I was able to obtain copies of his prison records. He wound up un Ft Delaware which he was lucky to survive.
