I just called up Bosch customer support to order the replacement part. Customer service asked me for the model number and the FD number of my dishwasher. The person said that certain dishwashers between 2012-2015 are part of a quality alert and said that this cable quality alert is different than the Bosch dishwasher power cable recall. Since my dishwasher was part of this quality alert, they will pay for parts and labor to replace my broken part. My dishwasher was from 2014, by the way. I watched your video a couple of times because I thought that I was going to need to attempt the repair. This Bosch dishwasher door cable quality alert must be super secret since I can not find anything on this topic when I search the internet.

Just bought new washer and dryer with steam.Installer hooked up cold wye water hose to hot port on dryer.Haven't used steam setting yet.

I imagine if you ran a steam cycle with no water to it the element would burnout. Cause i know somebody that had lowes install the dryer but they must have stole the kit and never hooked a cold hose to it. And shes used the steam setting but she wants me to hook it up.

This was exactly what i needed. I kinda knew how to do it but this was like having your buddy come over while you install it. Just to give you that little confidence on what you jeed to do. Thanks buddy.

Mine won’t budge. If I shake it it wiggles enough to make me think it’s not frozen. If I could see where the actual catch is it might help.. it’s too hard to see it in the video

Could I just attach a Y connector to the faucet and then two hoses one for washing machine one for dryer?

I didn't know what type of attachment style this rear wiper had and i was sitting back here confused for a second. This video is the perfect amount of information without a bunch of unnecessary yapping. Once I saw how to remove it, I got ot installed in a flash. Thanks so much for saving me time.

My washer and dryer has a sink and cabinet in between washer and dryer . I don’t want a braided cable stretching across sink. Do I need to install this steam hose? I don’t really want to drill hole through cabinet to extend hose to dryer

my fridge has been awesome until this has started roughly 5years old. Is there a fix. what needs to be replaced?

I trimmed the broken cable, tied a piece in the middle in less than 5 minutes. Then… spent a half hour trying to get the plastic clip into the grip on the spring.
