My slipper clutch screw doesn't lock up on my typhon and even over tighten it. I upgraded to steel spur and i replaced a new clutch spring and screw set. Keeps coming loose within 5 mins or drive a bit fast and hear the slipping and loss of power and stops and the plates separated. Idk what i could do with this rc.

Lots of folks tend to forget when clones first come out they were straight garbage. With that said as they gained traction they have greatly improved ALOT. Are they perfect no of course not. But no RC ever is. Clones got alot of folks into the 5th scale game cause they we're finally affordable. I've probably owed 10 are more 5th scales over the years. Sold most of them. Down to 4 now 2 clones and 2 original HPIs . Both have there place. I tend to focus more on the clone stuff now just because they have so much more to offer and more bang for your buck.

Is that the V2 30 degree North? The center diff looks like a V1.

Cool first startup of your 30DN i'm planning to buy one in the next year or two. I'm not sure if i should buy the V1 roller and the V2 conversion kit with it when it comes back in stock at fearless RC or i might buy the V2 29cc RTR. Still cool can't wait to see running videos of your truck when you get it running.

Those look like the bandito X on the blk Losi DB.. I have those on my 1:5K and although their belted, it’s got thin walls and the walls expand around 50mph and because the tread portion doesn’t expand because it’s belted, the whole tire becomes deformed. On pavement it sounds like either you blew a tire or you have a flat spot on your tires. When you slow down they go back to normal. I like the bandito X for the look and the skid sounds you get from them but they become badly warped around 50+mph. It’s like the walls expand and the tread portion buckles in. I guess thats why belted tires either have short walls or thick walls.

your gonna leave it just with velro ? dont bash to hard it will def come out. Use a zip tie around the hole revicer box it will def help. i have my spectrum stock esc with a zip tie too.
