Ideas are easy but actually making sales is something else entirely. Once you have your idea, how do you make your sales? How do you advertise and market? Where do you find buyers? How do you get them to buy?

If women naturally don't hook up with men unless they are a step up in wealth and status. What happens when women believe that they no longer need men? Also, if both men and women have demanding jobs that don't allow for compromise, do they just pick up a pet instead? Also, if men have different characteristics from women, are we sure that they are no longer needed in a modern society? There is no need in childhood as strong as the need for a father's protection - Sigmund Freud

Many women no longer need men economically speaking and choose partners based on compatibility and someone they actually want to share their life with. Some women still seek out a partner for wealth and status but that seems to be diminishing. Idk about you but I'd prefer to be chosen than needed for sheer survival. The children vs pet thing you brought up is a great point. This stage of capitalism is increasingly incompatible with raising kids. I don't think men are no longer needed in modern society, far from it. Just not in the same economic dependent way women needed men before. Men seem like they're due for an equivalent to 2nd wave feminism for women, that there is more you can do than be a housewife if you so choose. There's more men can do than be breadwinners and there's freedom in that.

Many men don't value low paying salaried positions (like teaching) and left the high-empathy jobs (like mental health counselors and healthcare) to pursue bigger money and fill their provider roles with nothing but money, all too often distancing further from their children, and everyone else's children.

"It just works out that if you recruit for a job that requires you to parachute into a blazing inferno, you're gonna get more men" We really think that has nothing to do with social upbringing? We're also seeing an uptick in radicalization in young men. Does that mean young men are more prone to radicalization than young women? I wouldn't say so; media literacy isn't a genetic trait. Clearly there's more to it than that, you have to ask 'why?'. I'm not satisfied with "More men want to jump into fire and that's just how it is." There's always a why, whether that be treating risk-taking as a mark of 'manhood', expectations on men to put themselves in acute harms' way for others, perhaps how men and women are socialized to value life, perhaps socioeconomic circumstances (as we see often in military recruitment), perhaps a work environment that doesn't treat men and women with equal respect (as we see in military recruitment, physical labour jobs, and tech). Asking why could very well point us to underlying social and material concerns in society. But idk man, gender in general is about as useful in society as horoscopes. Assuming or assigning traits to someone based on it does nothing but limit us as a whole. I just want to be able to do my job without some dumbfuck thinking he needs to show me how to stick a special access sticker on my badge, or me flagging a technical issue to my boss, the steps I took so far, and asking for permission to do higher-level troubleshooting with "are you sure it's a problem? How are you checking that you've lost internet access?" and "Okay, don't worry, I'm here, calm down, Have you tried turning it off and on again?" When I know neither would say that to my colleagues.

Might delete my Facebook account because it's making me 😢 depressed. And my boyfriend's not helping much either. He saw I was getting Cyber bullied on Facebook. But he was handling it the harsher way he was yelling at me swearing at me on the phone. 😢 He has trust issues anger issues. And he has a secret Facebook account. And he looks at the accounts 😢 can't find it. How do I find a secret Facebook account?

0:25 When exactly wasn't American mentality about me and money and now it is?!? Maybe when she lived in India, and not in America. This obsession about narcissism is taking toll on her. She looks much worse than a couple of years ago. She fits in what Vaknin calls ''psychopathic victim''.

“Obliterate the boundaries of your individuality” was part of a quote from Sadhguru when answering a question from a little girl at one of his lectures who had brittle bone disease. To me it was one of his best “life lessons”…and answers to a complicated question that kind of relates to how we perceive ourselves…our”ego!” None of us are perfect…and like Dr Epstein says “our egos are our best friend AND our worst enemy…it’s up to us to channel our thoughts and judgments of others to shine the light of kindness on to every one we meet…and into our own heart as well! That’s how ego is supposed to work!

I 1000% agree.that Dr Ramani is the best!!! I could write a novel on my relationship that has been off and on the last 6 yrs. but I met him over 30 yrs ago.... and dated him some. Handsome and talented. WOW!! fast fwd yers later, reconnected, and I had NO idea of his issues. you can't communicate with the narc, they don't listen and you cannot ever tell him to check in or where were you...etc. and an expert gaslighter. Horrible feeling to be gaslighted. I have looked at Dr Ramani's videos here and YOU ARE THE BEST. It's like you're speaking about my relationship and YOU get it! someone finally gets it!! I came here because I needed to. I am sorry for all the folks who went and go through this daily, it's emotionally draining because they suck the life out of you, they don't listen or communicate, it's all about them. Add in several other personality disorders and it's just incredibly challenging to receive love from them. One sided. personality changes without warning. I kept going back to it. Dr Ramani we would have a great long chat about my relationship because you have to realize you're saving peoples lives. Thank you for your knowledge and professional training so we can seek help from this brick in the face disorder we have experienced from them among many other disorders we are dealing with. One thing you said we can get to a point where "oh it started long ago it's not their fault it's from childhood, they were dealt a bad hand...etc.I feel sorry for them" yes, I went through that too with him. Well what about us that don't go through this- we don't need it. We didn't cause this we can't cure it and we can't control it. I need to stay on my forward path with no contact. I always go back. I always wanted someone to just understand. There is no winning with this relationship. He will only get worse.

Had to come back to this. So heavy! So fulfilling. Reminds me of the times I would sit at the dinner table with my parents every night. I was a little to young to understand at the time but fortunately I remember most conversations and I use them in my adult life. Insane that this is free on KZbin! Sort of free lol I'm sure KZbin makes money from everyone in some way.

I also struggle with slowing down and taking a break. But its because i see the mountain i want to climb and just how far i am from even touching it. Im excited and scared at the same time! With such limited resources it seems ALMOST impossible. It feels like if I stop running or take a break, I will lose. I have to literally talk to myself everyday and remind myself that the life I'm after isn't a sprint to the finish. It's more of an endurance test. But im so excited for the path im pursuing that i want to be as present as possible. Im pretty sure my loved ones think im either crazy as heck or just randomly doing things that mean absolutely nothing. But thats ok! Im building relationships and resources in the spaces i want to be. I need to start buying the books of the people you have on the show! I bet there are ways of thinking/living i havent even considered!

This is only possible when the mind is entirely open to the possibility of suffering. Connectedness changes the experience of pain and pleasure. You move beyond it not in that you stop feeling pain and pleasure but you stop resisting. Children are naturally connected so feel all the bad and the good. They intensely experience the world. As they age they start to resist experiencing so lose connectedness. A person must go back to what they were in the beginning.
