I don’t have a yo-yo maker. Approximately how large are your circles? I love the “small” ornaments ❤
@SewBrenna4 ай бұрын
For the size large yo-yo you could replace it with a 4” circle template, the small would be 2.75”, and the extra small would be approximately 2”. Each of those measurements includes a small seam allowance for turning in the raw edge. I hope that helps!

My daughter had the same experience. She started with braces at age 13 and literally has been with braces or appliances for over 10 years. When she was 22 they put in a Herbst appliance with expanders and a fixed top bite plate. She wore that for 2 years. She still has braces on but hoping she’s coming to the end before her 30th birthday. She will have had a mouth full of metal and acrylic for the last 15 years. My wife had the same issues which were never addressed as an adolescent, so she had braces, the Herbst appliance and headgear as an adult for about 6 years. You were wise to get this done now rather than be a 50-something women with braces and wearing headgear.

Hi Brenna. Thanks for your videos discussing braces. I may have to have round 3 soon. Are you still wearing the Hawley retainers? Or do you wear the clear Invisalign type? Thanks.
@SewBrenna2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question! I have the metal and plastic retainer still. I have had the clear Invisalign type before too, but those ended up not working for me. I was clenching my teeth together trying to force them to fit better which then caused my teeth to move and then led to having to have braces for the third time. I also prefer the sturdiness of the harder plastic and metal compared to the clear softer plastic. Best of luck to you on your smile journey. 💜

Where do u get those socks to make the monkey? I'd like to try making one sometime.
@SewBrenna2 жыл бұрын
Hi! You can find these socks on Amazon, or directly from their website. It’s Fox River brand. If you search “fox river red heel sock” you should be able to find a place to buy them. I hope you have fun making a monkey!
@duke7442 жыл бұрын
@@SewBrenna thanks 😊 When I get a chance I'll look to see if I can find them. How long does it usually take u to make one? And how much does it usually cost? 🤔
@SewBrenna2 жыл бұрын
@@duke744 When I was making several in a row I got my manufacturing time down to about an hour and a half, but it’s been a while, so I’m not sure how long it would take me now. It’s probably something that could be started and finished in the same day for most people. Cost depends on the price of the products that you use (socks, stuffing, thread, and buttons and things) When I was selling them I had them priced at $35 per monkey, so for sure less than that to make it yourself!

I just wondered if he could get the top ones as straight as he did why couldn't he do that with the bottom ones. Especially for a thousand bucks which back then was half a million. If you look into work your orthodontist did on other patients you may find out they all still have crooked teeth.
@robertpolnicky77022 жыл бұрын
I had braces once and my lower teeth still look like hell. I always wondered what the orthodontist did wrong. I almost felt like my parents had a claim against him. I didn't like him too well and not sure he didn't deserve a law suit
