@adamsajewicz3238 - It was a lot of fun, but there were so many cones (2sec penalty per cone you hit), it was hard to get a clean run.

In 1983 my first car at age 16 was a 1973 white with red interior 240Z. It was completely stock, all original and super clean. I eventually sold it to buy another car I wanted and the lady I sold it to totaled it I within the first month. I went and visited it at the wrecking yard, so sad.

I replaced the entire control arm with one from TechnoToyTuning. If you want to replace with a new spindle pin, cover it in antiseize then install. If the pin is new and not corroded, it should slide right in.

That’s the only way I see em getting done. Q, why did you decide to remove them on your car? To replace the bushings? They looked in good shape for 50+/- 💪🏼👍🏻

I installed TechnoToyTuning rear control arms so the spindle pins had to come out.

Hi Sean, does the GPS sensor work OK where you've mounted it. Also why is the wire to the tacho necessary, thanks Gary.

I ended up moving the GPS sensor to the dash next to the A pillar to get a more consistant signal. For wiring I just followed the instructions provided.

Gary, yes I love the Electric Power Steering! It is awesome and I highly recommend it! It makes parking and low speed corners easy, like a modern car. Great for autocross too! Idid a comparison video here kzbin.info/www/bejne/iXbUdKxmgKaNr7M

I think if after removing the lock pin, then block the lower hole with a bunge and pour WD-40 or 50/50 on the top and let it soak for a few hours to let it lube the pin. Then hammer it out with a block of wood and the pin.

What a beaut! I’ve got a early 74’ running project over here with upgrades in the same vein. Just wanted to mention the Z therapy video on tuning these carbs he mentions never running filters like those due to loss of HP. Made me source a 240 airbox as they have velocity stacks built in. Something to think about.. big ups on the whip tho! Super fly!
