A real revelation regarding Danny Kirwin. I never appreciated what an integral part of the band he was. So many twin lead lines which I always understood to be Peter Green alone.

@TheMikkster Jeremy Spencer is one of the few white men in the last 100 years who can sound like a black man. Elmore James died early in his career and never got a chance to appear on TV or get well-known so Jeremy took over where he left off and duplicated his style immaculately. Do you know how hard it is for a White Guy to sound that black . Most of the white guys playing blues out there sound so whitewashed. This guy was incredible. But it's real blues and that probably goes over your head because you're not into real blues. You probably like more whitewash blues like John Mayer. Yeah Fleetwood Mac is real blues for real blues lovers.

@ Jeremy is the one who does the Elvis impersonations, they’re awful! While I’m waiting for PG to take centre stage. And feck off with the John Mayer crap
@chriskroll41668 күн бұрын
@TheMikkster Jeremy used to do a little of everything on stage. The guy was a human Dynamo. He was a very retro guy so he liked to go back and do oldies and bring old styles to the present. Danny Kerwin would do his thing . And Peter greenwood do his thing. But it's not for everybody's taste.

I was about 8 yrs old when we got a 53 Jubilee new demonstrator. Got the Dearborn bottom plow and harrow.Covington cultivators with Cole planters and fertilizer distributors etc. with the 8n we already had. I now have an all original 8n except for new 6volt battery and an all original Dearborn 2 14inch bottom plow. This was our first tractor and the one I learned to farm on.

I worked in a restaurant that had a common area of back doors. The back door of one led directly to the back door of the other. Gleason, before entering our restaurant would come through the kitchen, handing out hundred dollar bills to the kitchen staff and waiters. Chatting with us, before going into the dining room via the kitchen door. He would then greet the mass of people gathered to see him. What an absolute gentleman. This was in the early eighties in NYC. And yes, as a waiter, I can tell you that he was a drinker. A surprisingly quiet one.
