I compared them both, I have to say Boyz 2 men are the best, the emotion they put in makes the song, but homefree did very well, just the emotion was not there, 10/10 boyz 2 men, 8/10 home free.

I’ve cried quite a bit listening to this song. Their performance is flawless and they sing with such conviction - powerful and humbling.

John's approach to his performances is, he never performs to the audience, he performs for the audience; and that gives him that most pleasure, to be able to connect with his fans(that's what his audience are). I can remember when my father first saw him on tv, he didn't really like his style; but when my wife and l took him to see John live, his appreciation changed. That's the connection his singing and character has on people, he has a bit of the 'larrikin' in him; a good hearted and rowdy person.

The problem with us Aussies, is we've been spoiled; especially when John did his Classic Jack Concert with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, this is a completely different vocal and musical experience. John has been an icon of the Australian music scene, ever since he first appeared back in 1967 as a teen pop idol; he dedication in improving his craft is a testament to the honesty of the mam, The Voice as he is affectionately known as in Australia. He has had global exposure with some of his hit singles, and that's without touring internationally; he has done some concerts overseas, but he took family over International stardom (because he is Star, of the highest calibre).

Australia has some of the best British born musicians and all we got back was the Bee Gees ? When John was making this music Americans were smoking weed and singing protest songs ?

Great reaction! Really agree with all your comments. 👍 I’ve listened to them since 2011. I’ve watched them, since the first night on The Sing Off. I recently rewatched some of their earliest videos, Can’t Hold Us, Thrift Shop, Radioactive, Run to You and Royals. Even back then, you just knew they were headed for stardom. This latest video was amazing. Loved the comparison. I never saw Seal’s version before. Both fantastic.

I just found reaction videos in general and yours specifically about 6 months ago, so I’m positive that you know that Kirstie and Jeremy were engaged. In the time leading up to their wedding they ended up calling it off. Of course went on to meet and get engaged to Ben Hausdorff (PTX’s videographer).

He wrote the song they released this past fall called Thank You. (I’m reasonably sure it’s on their latest Christmas album). Anyway, he plays piano for that and he play a lot at their concerts.

hiii!! i can't tell if you're listening with captions or not, but either way, thanks for the reaction!!!! they are known for defying genres and just doing what they want with genres, while also having amazing lyrics at the same time!! they love to experiment with genres and keep people on their toes when it comes to production (arrangement & composition if you know anything about music production) even just the production itself is very impressive, while the lyrics and melodies are also very impressive
