after discovering this i started to wonder if the location depicted in the tapestries is actually findable in game, specifically the castle since it would be the easiest and most reliable thing to locate. the hidden door you walk through has a ‘K’ on it, and the only village/ hamlet starting with a K on the map is Keenbridge. West of Keenbridge is an old castle ruin which, from a certain angle a little to the left of the main gate, looks alot like the castle in the tapestry, with the tower in the background and all. it is really interesting if this was intentional! imagine that was the actual location where this took place! it seems to have happened in medieval times so the characters from the story are all gone but at that time hogwarts would have existed for a really long time already. maybe the real story passed into legend and some artist weaved it into the tapestries in hogwarts in a secret room to commemorate the story? perhaps, being magical people, the people in the tapestry went to hogwarts? maybe one of them themselves created the tapestries? interesting to think about

This is a great game and it’s under appreciated how impressive it is that they made this game work on the switch. It’s not great, but it works. Bravo for taking their time and nailing this game.

JKR supported the raceswapping of characters like hermione in cursed child and has been retconning stuff in her own stories. Look, i will always be thankful for what she did for my childhood. But i dont trust this at all. The films are flawed but timeless and classic. Will never be replaced! Oh and WBs recent post for casting calls saying they will cast regardless of gender or skin color, all in effort to keep their DEI points? Yeah they can take this reboot and shove it. They care more about not offending anyone than delivering good stories and characters that are faithful to the original lore. I dont need this reboot for "mOdErN AUdInEnCeS".🙄

Good. I’m all for hiring writers that are less familiar with the lore as it offers new, unbiased insight into a story. But without an anchor who is familiar with the story you’re left with a product that doesn’t connect with real fans and is of an inferior quality to the work that came before it, meaning that it’s harder to generate new fans. Nobody wins that way. Nothing JK has done is illegal so she has every right to work on the franchise she created and owns. If you don’t like it that much, don’t watch. We don’t need to repeatedly hear that you can’t separate art from the artist.

The fact that they keep rolling the date back makes me wonder how committed they are to doing the series. I encountered one theory that HBO was having financial problems so they pitched a 'Harry Potter' series not so much because they wanted to make it but because it would reassure their creditors that they held a valuable IP. And since they're really not that enthusiastic about the idea, they're dragging their feet about getting started on it. Another possibility is that they're having trouble finding top tier actors willing to be associated with J. K. Rowling's transphobic views. Or maybe the Head TERF in Charge is blocking the hiring of any actor who has ever publicly supported trans people. It's certainly possible.

I hope miss Rowling chokes on her english breakfast tea when the series comes out, rolls down her appartment into the sewer and sips some of that sewage tea whilst watching with the rats. Thanks for the updates 😘

The writers who don't know the whole story clearly have missed some BASIC storytelling classes

So long as they don't rehire any of the movie actors. I feel like it'll be best if they completely leave behind and move away from the movies, including original actors playing different roles. Let's just start afresh and give it a chance of success in its own right. If done right (which means getting the tone right, as well as casting better child actors, who are chosen for their acting rather than an American's ideal of what an English kid looks and sounds like), I honestly think it could completely blow the movies, which were pretty substandard, completely out of the water.
