Huh, that's an interesting video! Many thanks to the author of the channel for the recommendations! The problem with many people is that they want to take a "magic pill" or get "secret knowledge" and immediately have skills and abilities. However, the truth of life is that knowledge, skills, and abilities do not come by themselves. You can't learn a foreign language without doing anything, without wasting your time and effort, just like you can't learn to ride a bike lying on a comfy couch, listening to lectures and watching videos about "modern methods of learning" on a bike. To really learn something, you have to really practice every day. You're going to fall down while you're learning, and you're going to get bumps - that's normal! The ups and downs of learning are an integral part of our lives. Motivation from success and depression from failure will always be your study companions. However, every student has problems in his or her studies that he or she lacks the knowledge to solve. It can be: poor memorization of words; no progress in language learning; the student can speak, but does not understand speech by ear; misunderstanding of grammar; incorrect pronunciation, etc. Agree that a problem you don't know how to solve is very demotivating. In order to find the answer to our question we have to spend a lot of time to read videos, articles and books by polyglots. In today's world, we have to solve problems as quickly as possible. I don't have time to study and analyze a huge amount of information. My goal is to master the basic knowledge of a foreign language as quickly as possible and already start earning money effectively in the international arena. I settled on the practical guide by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot Notes: practical tips for learning foreign language". This book is always in my bag. If I have a problem while learning a language, I quickly find the answer in this book. There are many different techniques and tips for learning a foreign language in Polyglot Notes. I have made my own individual schedule and plan for language learning. Now I know what I am going to study, how I am going to study, when I am going to study and what results I am going to achieve. No problem could stop me! With an effective language learning plan my professional skills are more and more in demand internationally every day. Friends, don't stop there! Everyone has talents that millions of people around the world need! Learn the language and make your ideas and dreams come true! Thanks to the author of the channel for the informative and useful video! Your videos motivate me.

@beingtruebeingme Жыл бұрын
Thank you☺️and sorry, just found your comment and I see I am a bit late to respond but yes you can buy a monthly ticket though only through applying for a Venezia Unica Card for residents and paying a fee for creating the card. I believe it was around 100€ and then you can buy a monthly ticket. 😊

Thinking of retiring to Venice in a few years. Would you recommend living there? Why did you leave Venice?
@beingtruebeingme2 жыл бұрын
Hello, honestly Venice is a great place to live. I know that some people would say there are crowds of tourists…well yeah but the city itself is beautiful. I personally know that the moment I get a chance I am returning there. The reason I left was mostly because of school. I wanted to finish my university degree. Truth be told I miss being there. Everytime someone says they are either planning a trip to Venice or have already returned I am thinking about all the amazing memories and want to go back. The city has great atmospere, though some say it’s a bit melancholic I personally hadn’t noticed, the residents were wonderful people. I hope my reply helped. If there is anything else, do ask me. I will do my best to answer. A. 🤗

love watching your videos, thank you for sharing. We have a similar experience, I absolutely love Venice when we lived there for a year in 2016. Never say never, you might be back too, you'll never know.

Hey Venice is in my final fantasy XV game. It was sweet but got annoying real quick. Oh and what you described as feeling like you are still on the water when you are on land is called Land sickness. It is from being out on the water for a long time. (Hmmm I wonder if people that go on cruises get that feeling once the cruise is over?)
@beingtruebeingme2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the “Land sickness” term.😊 About the cruise ships… that´s a really interesting question😀 and I have no idea but I believe it is possible…

I have lived in Italy at Lake Garda for 10yrs and yes the summers were hot, then my daughter came to live with me and she said let me buy you an air conditioner. It was a room air conditioner with hose on window. We had to hire a handyman to have the window glass cut to size. Well this made all the difference. Last summer was comfortable and the electric bill €175 for 2 months of summer which was worth it. We love the 4 seasons and summer is important but just this one change made the 3 months pleasant
@beingtruebeingme2 жыл бұрын
Hello, yes I agree. I myself love the four seasons too but the summers are hot. 😊
@4030002 жыл бұрын
You are in one of the beauty of earth and you spent quite all the video talking about air conditioning. Very US approach. Outside US, AC is not so common due to the energy consumption. Europeans are a lot more sensible than US people about the earth situation. Energy consumption like recycling and healthy food are important elements for Italians. Italians, and in general Europeans, walk a lot more than US people. In America you use the car for all your needs. Here it is not. Walking is also beneficial for your body and helps to keep your weight controlled. In Venice there are lots oh treasures from the past. Art and culture than you never seen in US, all concentrated in one place. Better use this opportunity then stay in hotel with AC
@margmak62342 жыл бұрын
Everyone is different, I can't stand extreme heat, I actually don't feel physically well in it, so I need an Air conditioner. It's her experience and let her have it.
@4030002 жыл бұрын
@@margmak6234 Agree. My intention was to stimulate this young lady to take the initiative and look beyond what she consider important for her instead to be focused in her comfort area due her habits. It's a mental boundary. Young people must take the initiative to discover the world through their experiences. If you stay in 'your' world, you'll miss the opportunity in your life. In Italian we have a motto saying that when the train is passing through, well ... catch it! Maybe you have the same in US. And this young lady should apply it. Regards.
@margmak62342 жыл бұрын
@@403000 just because you see one video of this young lady, you assume that she is lacking experiencing life. Once again, if you don't like her video, leave. Not need to stimulate anyone. I am not even from USA. Good night and have a god day.👍🏻🙂
@4030002 жыл бұрын
@@margmak6234 She posted something in YT. People comments. That's what I did. Like you, me and other billion of people. I'm not assuming anything neither you are fm US. Of course she highlight what she think it is important. No doubts. But, because she is in Venice, I think (may I?) she had the opportunity to take advantage of the location. Nothing it's wrong in this. Pls, respect my thought like you pretend I have to respect her thoughts. If you don't like my comment, please leave. Night

Hello, I know I may be a bit late to reply to this but I guess I will do so nonetheless. I never intended to sound as if the only thing I cared about in Venice was to escape the heat. I simply wanted to describe my own experience. As someone who lived most of their life in a mild to cold climate. Moving to Italy and especially in summer was a big change. One I had to adjust to. The first few days the change from cold to hot was so tough for my body it literally did make me sick. I was never talking about shutting myself off in an AC hotel. About the walking part... I also didn't mean to sound as if walking was something bad. I love to walk! It might have come out wrong but being able to walk so much made me fall in love with the city even more. Next point, the history and the architecture is what made me come to this beautiful place on Earth. I wanted to learn as much as I could about this place...I do see it for the treasure it is. It's a one of a kind place.
