They were my first punk show when I was 12 in Jan ‘83 at the Club Caboose in Lafayette, IN. Totally had an adolescent crush on Bruce, and Tufty and I have the same last name. 🤘I still have Kill By Remote Control on vinyl.

How many and who sang the songs? Two different singers right??
@ohmsarchives5819Ай бұрын
Sean Carlin: Guitar, vocals, and programming Rob Lightbody: Vocals and guitar Jer Herring: Guitar and vocals Jeff Finn: Bass Jan Eddy Van Der Kuil: Drums
@@ohmsarchives5819oh ok cool. So I guess that's rob singing in the green mind and get on it videos

@@MatthewRamey-s5u I'm the guy that created the Sean tribute shared above. 3 of Dink's members actually did vocals, and they sometimes switched. In the video above, all 3 of them do vocals at one point or another: Rob does "Three Big Bags", "Angels", "Running Red", "Rocks", "Water" (shared with Jer), "The Cemetery Song", and "Reason"; Jer does "Water" (shared with Rob), "Get on It", "In Her Head", and "Green Mind"; Sean does "The Heroin Song". Ultimately though, Sean was the core of the group as he wrote the majority of the music and did most of the programming.

Back in the seventies back in the 70s for innocent kids had to die in this very town and I know that must have been sad cuz it's a pretty little town why so much needless death huh? You know we could save the fentanyl addicted youth of America I have a plan and I live by the border because you see there's a deadly illegal blue menace called fentanyl it is a blue pill smuggled in by a coordinated effort by the Chinese criminals and the criminals of Mexico organized crime that smuggle the blue pill menace across the border using innocent American hostages that they hold Ransom naked in a warehouse full of naked other Americans that they threatened and

You know I don't want to give you a PTSD freak out but I woke up crying because I was like watching renegade and I was all like Lorenzo lamas is sexy and everything but man it was the episode with the guitar player guy that sounds like Bob Dylan with all the metaphors in his songs and it's like you got to make the artful connections if you're ever going to understand the lyrics but anyways yeah I cried my ass off this morning thinking about those dead hippies
