As a Kenyan, we hear and know so little about Malawi. So thanks for this video. Is life expensive there?

You are welcome. It can be expensive for the typical Malawian earning in our currency but relatively cheap to the rest of the world

How much to buy a couple of these coaches and set up a luxury coach route between Lilongwe and Blantyre? You could make a killing if you set up a service like this.

I am really not rich
@garyblore117 күн бұрын
You don’t need to be rich, you need an entrepreneurial spirit. Look for opportunities then look for investors to help you achieve. The interest rates in Taiwan are less than 3% where in Malawi you would have to pay over 30%. You are in the perfect place to look for investors to help you.

U won't believe that Malaysia and Ghana got independence same year 1957. Infact that time Malaysia was poorer than resource rich Ghana but today u can't compare the two countries. Ghana gdp is still under 80 billion usd while Malaysia GDP is larger than Nigeria.

The economy is diversified because we know we cannot be farming forever, or digging oil forever, so we focus on manufacturing semi conductors and electronics. Yes in the past we too mine tin as the main resources. Agriculture products like cocao/cacao, rubber were important. But it was manufacturing that brought up the economy. And we found more gas and oil.
