Why not just use a tippet ring to the butt section of leader and tie 5x off that? Use an airlock indicator so you can adjust depth without cutting and adding tippet.

I would think that tying it in sizes 16-22 would be a great blood midge imitation! Awesome video!

the only fly i found in south west ms is the white stone made by betts have not found much else for bream and bass in this area
