Same recommendations as dozens if not hundreds of other videos. Have used them all over 10 years in my 1500 gallon fish room and none of them work once a tank is infested none of them work. Hydrogen peroxide and gluteraldahyde give temporary improvement with great harm to underlying health of plants and fish

You can not keep neon tetra in coldwater tanks 😩

Can you just take all the plant out and spray them with hydro out of water and then carbon dose them in a separate quarantine container with aquarium water?

Good video. Thanks. I thought neon tetra were purely tropical. Can they really go in a cold water aquarium? I would love some ❤
@Emmo1278 күн бұрын
i wouldnt really fully trust this list because it depends on your room temperature. ideal temps for neons are mid to high 70sF even though they can tolerate lower most tropical fish will tolerate lower for a little while but its not healthy for them. if you want an unheated tank fish you should do something that prefers to be in high 60s low70sF. water is usually a little cooler than your room temp. do some more research and double check all their recommendations

Ive got a female half moon in a 36 bow with 13 tetras. Shes active, and always on the move, occupying the entire tank, all levels. No bettas should be in a tank wherein all they do is hand there, depressed. Put a betta in a 20 gallon at least, and quit telling people you can store even females together. Theyre still mutually agressive, and a betta sorority tank can be done, but they take experience.

20 gallon is quite too small, not even worth for shrimp and snail, add 20 gallon more and you should be fine.

Hello!! Im late but I’m not sure if I’m cycling my axolotl tank right. I just got my tank yesterday and I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong. I’ve been looking up to see if I cycled it “to quickly” but everything that I’ve tested (I have the master test kit) has said its been cycled. At least I think? Im new to all of this I have everything but the axolotl. Some help is greatly appreciated. Extra information: - My parent recommended I used spring water for the tank. - I put axolotl food in to help with the cycle (three pellets of salmon..something? I cant remember what the guy at the store called it) - I used prime and stability - I have a sponge filter Like I said ANY help is appreciated!

I bought 10 fishes before knowing about cycling. I messed up badly... Bought another tank to do fishless cycle, and water change basically every day to keep the fish alive.

Risy red ska bluntnose minnow fine from 50 to 105 degrees(no signs of stress/behavior changes other than mating in warmer) can go lower just haven't tested to see if it affects behaviors.

I will stand by my years of fishkeeping and say that bba doesn't need to be introduced to your aquarium. I have used only tissue culture plants and new equipment and still got it. Its the same with other algae that can just appear.. Light I think is one of the major factors and overfeeding.

Mosquito fish can be kept in 100* temperatures which is below freezing. No mosquito fish can be kept in any temperature. They are regularly kept in ponds that get very hot and also freeze over.
