Thank you so much! That's one thing I love about plushmaking, everyone does it a bit differently since there's no "right" method 💕

If it wasn’t for the fact that it’s hammer is made of corviknight remains and I’m not sure if it’s feathers or bone the hammer is made of tinkaton would be adorable

So freaking cute :) is it washable with the coloring you added to the eyes? Or is more of an art doll/display piece?
@follylollyАй бұрын
@@SeraphinesTales thank you! I added a light layer of sealant so the pigment on the embroidery will hold up to spot-cleaning, but probably not a washing machine. Handmade plushies like this really shouldn't be machine-washed anyway though, so it doesn't change the care instructions much!
@SeraphinesTalesАй бұрын
@@follylolly That's good to know. I've wanted to get into making stuffies, sounds like they're kind of similar to art dolls
@follylollyАй бұрын
@@SeraphinesTales very much so! You definitely *can* make plush that are kid-friendly and machine washable if that's a goal - I personally enjoy making more complex art piece type designs though.
@SeraphinesTalesАй бұрын
@@follylolly I can relate. I'm still learning about the process and difference in plushies for collectors vs plushies for kids.

I went to school for art but I never made a career out of it because the feast and famine lifestyle is too stressful for me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on it! It's really cool that you were able to sell a plush for that much but it's definitely a lot of work & luck to keep that up!
@FyrsielАй бұрын
That's really neat that you made a plushie that sold for that much! Congrats! Also, very interesting to see this perspective on artistry and financial success.
