GODDAMN this is SO fucking awesome!!! It's a damned shame tho that the tires are such an environmental problem. Not to mention the internal combustion without filters. Racing, unfortunately, MUST CHANGE!! Imagine top-fuel IC cars using hydrogen. That's the direction to go here. You can KEEP the engine sounds, which are totally fuckin awesome. Electric has it's own sound which I think is cool enuf, but I also love the IC sound. And it CAN stay. But the fuel source has to be changed. And the tire compounds. Seriously. What those are made of these days is very non-ecologically-friendly. Which matters. Don't mock. Accept, and fix it.

Never met Rickie Smith but would love to someday. I feel like we’re two peas in a pod as far as two old guys (I’m 80 in October’24) that love drag racing, our wives and children and the Good Lord, not necessarily in that order. Been involved in drag racing since 1960 so I know where Rickie is coming from. This man is a treasure and a prince among men that doesn’t mind allowing his emotions and passion for what and who he loves to come to the surface when speaking about his blessings and who provides them! Mr. Smith, stay safe, keep it between the rails and I pray you keep doing what you’re doing as long as Almighty God allows! May the Lord Bless you and keep you!! 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

Chad ran ProMod first, then ran both but now is focused on Nitro FC. His son runs a N itro injected Dragster in Top Alcohol at selected NHRA events.

Cool deal the Legend. I really miss his Willys he had. Wonder who has that car now. Last time I seen that car Shannon Jenkins was driving it. I miss the early days at Mooresville Dragway. Glad I was able to see them in the late 80s and 90s.
