Kix must have changed this base cause as soon as I deploy Bro Devin and then Osiris and Ghosts the big spiders go on aggressive and kill everything almost instantly.

the spiders go on aggressive, beat them with "Mercenary Camp unit" , they can't move & must use "D" key to not your unit move when get any hit

The key here is you have 2 powerful and hard to get units (I don't think you can buy brother Devon or grave digger at all right now) that both have multiple drones to attract the firepower - after sending a merc into the side (great strategy thanks!). Trying these bases without units with drones is MUCH harder. If you don't have these units - keep searching videos and good luck.... (Canons with admonishers could work...?)

This event is a jump the shark moment. Total waste of my time, kixeye is on life support. Only cheaters coin for the most part. Every event is a boring grind. If I was a loser with no life outside a boring game I would spend days trying to get some unit that will be worthless in a few weeks.

Lvl 16 Cosmortors and Gus is only lvl 10 but it's possible using the clues you've given me. Took just under an hour repair on 3rd base before splitting the toon down

Nice job, just a shame Kix have to spam units constantly meaning you have to manage units all the time in each base as it becomes tedious and boring after a couple of runs. It's no wonder players complain if they have to go through it dozens of times during an event.
