Thanks Carrie for bringing up this very urgent matter. I am concerned about Amazon's decision to allow only Chinese third-party sellers to ship directly from China to U.S. customers. This policy creates an uneven playing field for non-Chinese third-party sellers and manufacturers, including those in the USA, who are offering similar products. Non-Chinese sellers must navigate duties for regular imports, comply with various regulatory requirements, and carry product liability insurance. These obligations add significant costs and challenges that Chinese suppliers participating in this program may not face.

I have an issue about how to use the metric "# of topic click products". It seems to me that a low number could mean a dominated market or a very untapped market. It could be good or bad at the same time.

Exactly, a low number could be hundreds of sellers that aren't doing well, and let's say 30 sellers dominating, but at first glance it looks like a low number. There is the 'number of competing products' on Helium 10 directly, so you could check the ratio between the two, but not sure if there's a better way to do it?

Yes it is. Temu and Shein - 10% seller Fee Advertising - NONE - Its not allowed Shipping - a 10x10x5 box = $1 anywhere in the United States Same products on Amazon are usually 50%-200% higher in price Temu and Shein have HORRIBLE navigation and browsing - but my guess is they will buy someone like overstock or something just for the interface - once they figure that out yeah Amazon is gonna have a REAL issue. I do contract work for sellers on all 3 platforms - The US companies getting onto these places are seeing the same sales level on those platforms in 3 months as they are on Amazon where they have been for 10 years.
