I don't get why podiatrists do NOT understand how to inject lidocaine without hurting their patients. I had ingrown toenails removed as a teen and didn't feel much of anything, yet both of my kids have been tortured by podiatrists. Based on this video, I wouldn't go to this guy, levering the needle around like it's in water!!!

This is the first time I saw calluses like mine. I actually have cracks like this right now, and it feels like walking on bruises. Even when I get the calluses exfoliated enough it only takes a few days for them to come back. I more or less have given up on having smooth feet. (I never really cared for them anyway) it’s just the pain and causing my socks to wear out quickly. (I haven’t been able to find darning thread in years, so I save my favorite pairs.) I do need to check out that compression sock. I have fallen arches too, and can only afford one orthotics a year so I can’t have them in all my shoes. So socks would help.
