Thank you for your kind words! 😊 These ideas often come from a mix of curiosity, problem-solving, and repurposing materials that are commonly available. Observing everyday challenges and thinking, "How can I make this easier or more efficient?" sparks creativity. Do you have any specific challenges or tools you'd like inspiration for? I'd love to brainstorm with you!

You're absolutely right, this method can be risky, especially if proper safety precautions aren't followed. Welding or working with electrical components should always be done with care, using the right tools and gear to ensure safety. It's important to understand the risks involved and proceed cautiously, particularly with homemade or makeshift solutions. What do you think could be done differently to make this safer?

Yes, if you're using a carbon mold in the welding process, you should make sure to secure the wire properly onto the mold before starting the weld. This helps in evenly distributing the heat and improves the welding process. Also, make sure the mold is stable and firm during the welding to avoid any issues with the shape or connections.

They now sell "hand held" battery powered welders nn Amz. Crazy I know. Absolutely bananas. U should do reviews on those. Some of them have "spool" welding fillers which is wild! NO more keep replacing rods. Insane. But I'm NOT SURE how legit they are.
@AmazingSmart-ngth
@AmazingSmart-ngth 14 сағат бұрын
That sounds like a game changer! Handheld battery-powered welders with spool fillers would definitely make welding a lot more convenient. The idea of not having to replace rods all the time is pretty wild. As for how legit they are, I’d suggest looking at reviews and checking whether the brand has good ratings and feedback from people who have actually used them. It might be worth testing one out if you’re into exploring new welding gadgets! Would you want me to look up some info on those welders to see what’s out there?
@lil----lil
@lil----lil 8 сағат бұрын
@@AmazingSmart-ngth I think it would fit your channel nicely. They're not that expensive and the few "reviews" on the tube is "ok" but not great being that they're still relatively new and unknown in the industry. But yea, imagine taking one of them on a quick job with basically NO hassle not UNLIKE how "cordless" drills have all but taken over "corded" drills and changed the drilling game forever.

It could be an issue with the voltage or the discharge current. For welding, it’s essential not only to have adequate voltage (12-14V might be sufficient) but also high discharge current. If your batteries are weak, the welding might not work effectively. Check the capacity and discharge rate of your batteries. Also, ensure the wire connections are secure. Are you using nickel strips? That can also affect the outcome. If possible, try using batteries with a high discharge rate. What materials were you attempting to weld?
