Your takeaway is not the same as count yogi. I’ve studied and applied his swing for years and this isn’t it.

Hi Rob, afer a few more weeks trying CY swing I come with further puzzle to you. You say in this film explicitly that you withdrew from flipping your hands. Why is that? I guess you also like me saw that CY was showing that he promotes flipping, so what happened that you now deviate from that?
@ChiTherapie8 ай бұрын
Hi purple flower 😂, i have some material about Yogi and i can not find info about flipping hands. But that’s not important at all. Its above all a mental routine 🤯😀. And what i say is that i have the intention to let my arms stretch on its own. And maybe my hands are still flipping but i don’t care, because its a mental routine and not trying to fix or creating a swing. You can fix a car but a golfswing is only to experience 🫶🏻. Do you have his book “ 5 simple steps to perfect golf”? Cheers and let go to get 😇
@PM-oo7wp8 ай бұрын
Thanks for the swift response Rob as always. I do not have that book, so indeed there, I do not see. There is a film on YT countyogi called "grip" and there towards the end (48 sec to end 😂) he shows in slow move where my eyes see that. I asked you as frankly speaking until I saw that guy late autumn most what I learned was quite opposite to his principles. It is winter here, and I only tried a few times, but some shots with what I grasped were very impressive. Ball goes much higher and still longer, which after 20 + years of playing is very encouraging 👍. But for me to feel comfortable, I need to understand what I do, so I believe I can repeat and return if results seem fading away. My internal voice would not let me play only on a feel, so to speak, as you described. By the way, since CY was underlying to always play "up", that flipping made me sens to apply. I will try to get his book eventually - pity that the dedicated CY page seems to lose the momentum with a death of the guy who had run that. Cheers

Hi Rob. You seemed to follow Marcus swing back in Q1 and here you praise Yoggi. Sorry to ask again but which one you appreciate more and associate par play to?
@ChiTherapie9 ай бұрын
Well that’s not easy to answer. First of all. I have some physical things to deal with. Missing 6 out of 7 cervical vertebrae. And the bottom of my legs and feet has only 10 % feel. So its technical Marcus and the boneless, muscleless and effortless of Count Yogi. I can say that for the people i teached i use the yogi method. The most easy to learn
@PM-oo7wp9 ай бұрын
Hi Rob. I trust you enjoy Christmas time. Regarding golf, after watching your quest clearly it has many valuable insides. Thank you. But technically speaking, what swing principles do you apply? Is it Count Yoggi or Marcus or ?? I came to your channel seeking more insides on Yoggi. Is that not good enough? I see your set up does not push hands right of the ball as he did. Also I understood you changed grip during your quest which always is a major change. Sure playing par every time is nothing but full respect 👍. Wish you well 🏌

Hi there, at the end of all my searches the most parts of my swing are in the “Edblad style “ but I learned to play the game instead of a swing. So i am happy to play every day and enjoying the game. Thanks for asking

I really love your swing Rob. Also your explanation of Yogi’s swing is amazing and can be done by anyone who truly do it that way. Just swing the club way Rob explains and “collect” the ball along the way. For me the most important thing to remember after you have a repeatable golfswing is to COLLECT THE BALL, not HIT THE BALL
