Queen was on fire that night ,she played and let the power of God shine through her spirit ,she gave sermonette and had the Entire Coney Island Shouting like a Revival and surely it felt good ,and she cut a few steps herself ,and she beat that piano down that night Bravo Queen

Yes n yes again to every comment .Diana Ross n Chaka we're always my girls .I liked Aretha ok but had never really took the time to look in close and see what a god thing n gift we had n aretha.u know they always say u don't know what u got til it's gone.im a 54 ur old white mail but I promise I can out play anybody in the hood when it comes to Kabuki games or as we call em call n response and libbing etc. As ND I know my music(soul and black oriented n influenced music but since the queen has passed I began looking at her last few final performances.ree was a decade or so before my time .Ross would've been except for all her huge 70 s n 80 s hits girl! Wtf was I thinking!? Ree has me spellbound this 80 yr old woman performing to sold out audiences while she's dying of cancer.men helping her into n off of the stage n u could see that she was I'll n the body n struggling.but I my god!. She loved the Lord n he loved her n let me tell u when she stood behind that mike n opened her god given voice she was as on point n funky n soulful I was fucking mesmerized.this was truly one of the most god given impressive heroes of our time if not the fuck all number one humanitarian christian and awesome woman and hero of our time past present or future hands down.theres something about a black woman that just outshines and goes beyond all human understanding when u know what they've always been up against( and always will be tilHe comes again) bcuz folks originally the Jews Israel Adam n eve and everyone in the Bible n in between were black people.and Jesus was black when Israel became a curse bcuz they had forsook their god as ND then crucified Jesus their redeemer the Bible tells us God scattered them n caused them to b a curse.the spirit of antichrist has been against them from day one.thencbegan the whitewashing if European n American history and the slow long process of trying to force them all out of Europe and take away or erase their identity by mass murder and or slavery via the trans atl as ntic slave trade.then the nephilim or serpent seed( the wire folk descended from the Anakin the tribe of huge white pagan men who were descended from unholy parentage if one human as ND one fallen angel thus the nephilim or serpent seed or gentile seed.thencbegan the times of the gentiles bcuz the lord said since my people rejected me I will elevate the gentiles and cause him to b grafted in and spread my word and my salvation to the entire world.however now that time ( of gentiles) is just over and now begins the end of Jacobs troubles.friends we are entering into some very serious end times.i encourage anyone to log on you tube to into all truth" .these teachings by a black west African woman can really put it all together for you and it will blow ur fucking mind ur hair back n split every fucking hair on ur head bcuz won't want to believe some of it but u won't b able to get it out ur head cuz when u hear Truth you recognize at such in your spirit

Beautiful...one of my many favs "Bridge Over Troubled Water". Whew! That piano was singing! Ms. Aretha ALWAYS included time to praise God during her concerts...God was her Solid Rock she stood on and she let the world know. You are missed dearly...RIP the one & only Queen of Soul, Ms. Aretha Franklin.

Damn, who could have guessed that this would have been among the concert highlights of my life? It was the second time I'd randomly gone to see Aretha because a roommate had tickets (the first time, this was free), and I had no clue she was terminally ill... I just remember the people, the happiness, the weird Coney Island vibe, and of course, the moment she hit stage. And gracious, was it beautiful! She put her all into this show, more even than the Apollo show in '06, and the amount of soul in this particular bit could have brightened the darkest heart in Kings County. Rest in Peace, dear lady.
