Couldn't you choose more inspired cities to replicate? Las Vegas is sick, but Detroit (to say nothing of NYC) is a horse so dead a tree has grown over it's corpse. Maybe try Niagara Falls or other regional New York cities for a start? They have a lot of fascinating industrial areas.

That’s a good idea! I’m local to Detroit that’s why I kind of want to build something inspired by it! Maybe mixed with another city too like Philadelphia or something.
