this review is so needed, thank you. Have you thought about applying rubber insolation on the door frames for sound? Don't know if it's a good idea or not, but if you try let us know

Thanks for watching and for the idea. I haven’t tried to replace the rubber weather seals, I figure it’s better to keep out the water than sound, haha. But I have read thoughts about installing sound dampening material inside of the doors. Opening the interior of the doors is fairly simple and upon seeing how thin the door frame is, I think that could make the biggest impact!

Switched usb port, and now it maxed out at 40MB/s read/write. Very slow disc😢

@Filmlove 11 күн бұрын
@@konsul2006 interesting, it shouldn’t be that slow, as long as the USB port supports the bandwidth. I’m curious if you can swap the unit if it’s a bad drive.

@@Filmlove must have been usb 2.0 port? Switched usb port again and the speed went up. But strangely it boosts up to 100+ mb/s for a few sec and jumps down to 40-50 mb/s and back up again. This is one strange drive😂

Nice video and information! how was the parking situation at various spots like emerald bay state park. I am planning from Roseville so will reach there in 1.5 hrs. Do i need to reach there before 9AM to get the parking spot ?
@Filmlove
@Filmlove 17 күн бұрын
Glad to hear you’re planning to visit there too! I can’t be too sure about parking… on Friday when we arrived around 10am it was raining so that opened up almost all of the spots haha, and the other day it was about 2pm on a Saturday, which was super crowded but we were lucky that someone finished their hike and pulled out just as we arrived

Nice! The campers next to us at 55 had a tent and it looked like 55 was more flat than our site and looked great too (there is a view of their tent next to the rocks at the 3:17 point in the video). You can also access the trail that is right behind the rocks! Happy trails!

The railcar is annoying. They removed the historic car that was always there, ripped out all the old tracks, then put in new tracks (Which took years) including going under one of the bridges which the railcar couldn't actually go through. Now it just screeches around downtown while not doing anything a bus couldn't do, and the Ronstadt center is already right there. Pretty sure the flycatcher and the hippy gypsy got removed and turned into some dorms or something. Magpies on 4th is also closing as of this week or so. They've been trying to revitalize downtown to be more than homeless people, a handful of bars, and tattoo parlors into just a bunch of bars and tattoo parlors.

Ah, the memories. I've lived in Tucson more or less my whole life. I was a kid in the late '90s-early '00s so I remember the Park Mall renovation, Diamond Shamrock (now Valero) and ABCO. Surprised you didn't touch on El Con Mall, which used to be a fairly significant shopping center. Sadly it was one of the first casualties of the internet here in Tucson. I enjoyed the video and your stories!
@Filmlove
@Filmlove 22 күн бұрын
Thanks, I’m glad you had the chance to watch! I agree, El Con was the place to be in the early 90’s and a few of my family worked in that mall at one point when Foley’s and Wards was still a thing. The colorful El Con sign was iconic

Interesting look from the past. Some of it still looks the same today. As for planes, looks like a B1 Lancer, F15, E-3 or E-8 (prob E-8) and last one a C-130 transport plane.

That sketchy movie theater I don’t remember the name of it but it was a dollar theater that would show movies that left normal theater and before they would hit the home video market at a nice discount. Wasn’t sketchy was just a budget theater.
