Without Timmy I don’t think the show would of been as good back then. He was my favourite character, to be honest back then I never knew he was a adult, I thought he was a kid. RIP Joshua Evans 🖤

It would had been great if the ending of Dark Shadows showed Barnabas giving Julia the ring that was returned by Josette. I don't know why they had such a horrible ending episode!

I think the "romance" was one-sided. Barnabas Never approached Julia as a possible Love interest. Maybe...if the show continued..the Storyline would have had them become a Couple---Not just good friends.

Barnabas was a dreamer he dreamed of all these other ladies and during the series he really never went after Miss Julia Hoffman this is being made up after the show went off the air by the way the music for this short video doesn't match for an imaginary match between these two did not care for the music either Barnabas always reached for the Stars!

Barnabas..was in Culture Shock. Chained in a coffin for 170+ years..when he finally escaped He just wanted his Josette back! He needed time to process his emotions. Besides..Hoffman was "tricky" with him in the beginning. Last thing He needed was another Manipulative woman! 😆

I probably shouldn't say this....but my big sister coined the term "The Grouper" for Hoffman because of her habit of staring off into space with her mouth wide open. I know it was the 60s but I wish they had made her MORE scientific so to speak, less weak. If she could have been more hard-core the problem is Barnabas would probably been less attracted as after all, he was a 1700s guy. IDK... I dont see Barnabas ever going for her as anything but a trusted friend, and she as doomed to have her heart broken.

WOW ! Never even heard the closing instrumental version before because they would. always override it with commercial voice overs & crop the screen credits ...this instrumental is just as beautiful as the opening vocal theme ! Thanks for posting ...one of best TV themes ever !

I miss this so much. How much simpler and happier my life was back then. I feel a lot more sad these days, but I am so thankful I had those happy moments once in my life.
