Yeah I am always learning too. And to be honest there's a lot of people that like to be super ultralight only carry the minimal, and that's fine, but I think it's more important to make sure you have what you need and be prepared for anything, at least I want to be. Thanks for watching and for your comment!🙂

Just came across this video and brought back so many childhood memories, I lived in Nara visa 19 years ago. My parents were the last known folks to own western stars motel . I was 14 years old I remember the truck stop and the post office were the only two places outside of our motel that were open . I was homeschooled as there was no school open . My father and I painted the building blue and white together . There was only a population of 54 ppl in that town when I lived there. Your video brought me so many tears but not in a bad way it was more like a walk down memory lane . Thank you so much for posting this video it made me want to go back and watch our old family videos from when we lived there and old pictures .

Thank you so much for watching and for your comment! I'm so glad you liked the video. It does seem like a nice little town. That motel is very iconic. Next time I'm through there and have time I want to pull over and walk up to see that old white church. I bet it's beautiful. Thanks again for the history and sharing your memories.🙂

I'm glad you stopped there as well Marty. Very interesting place. To think some ancient people were motivated to do this, create these images on the desert floor. In an environment as harsh and unforgiving as this you would think basic survival would have been a high priority. Seems obvious that those that created these felt they were worthy of the time taken to create them. Thank you for sharing this place of power Marty.

Thank you for sharing this Marty.

It looks like your fuel tank is not getting pressurized. Are you holding your thumb over the hole in the end of the pump when you're pumping? Mine needs around 40 pumps. When you turn the valve on it should hiss pretty loud and you would see gas coming out of the burner. Your tubing could be dirty or clogged as could the tip. That lantern is very bright. The Coleman stuff is exciting. Always a bit risky haha Thanks for sharing Marty!
@MartysRamblings20248 күн бұрын
Yea I had the hole covered, but doesn't seem to build pressure. I'll have to work on it when I get home again. Prob watch a few KZbin videos on it first lol. I am having fun with these stoves and lanterns. I want to find a Coleman kerosene lantern and a one burner stove next.😁 Thanks for watching Steve!
