This really does not work, I added boiling hot water, lid stayed green. Flask is so hot I can not even touch it. This product is rubbish & dangerous.

If you pour the formula while the water is boiling it can destroy formula vitamins etc this is a horrible video, the water has to be at 70º so it doesn't destroy the formula nutrients and still kill any bacteria in the fomula powder

This product is not working. 1. It's not actually cooling the milk 2. The milk keeps coming out from the sides while you shake. Stay away

Mine just shows green constantly. Even with fresh boiled water in it and not giving it 2 minutes, it shows green.

It’s useless to be honest i bought one for my 7 months old it’s just shallow it doesn’t hold the food properly I mean within 1 minute they just smash the food unlike I saw just 😢now there is another one with proper holder unfortunately already end up paying for this useless thing 9 Euro

We use a steam steriliser, but that won't work for the lid. I saw mentioned something about using the flask to sterilise the lid. Is it as simple as filling with boiling water and attaching the rapid Cool lid to the flask?

Why use the plastic cup to pour in the forumla? Can i not use the scoop from my formula and add it directly into the flask instead of putting it in the plastic cup and then the flask? Seems like an unnecessary step...?

@@amygreen8501 Hi Amy. We had a faulty one with the zip so took it back to Aldi. They swapped it for us and we got the zip working, but still not that straight forward. This video agreed should be a step by step guide for assembling it. Hope you got it sorted?

NHS guidelines water must be +70c when mixed with powdered formula to kill bacteria in the feed but the issue is the manufacturers all say not to use water directly off the boil as it may affect the quality of the feed. With no thermometer on the flask etc this thing is an expensive waste of money. We had this problem with our little one and found the best solution was a flask with a thermometer built in cost about £10-15 and another flask with ice water and a small tub. As long as the thermometer was above 70 it was safe to use and if you needed it cooled rapidly that's where the 2nd flask came in. If not there's not many establishments that would deny you running a bottle under a tap to cool it.

In my experience, no. We filled with boiled water to use while out, but was cold 3 hours later

I think you need to tip upside for 5 seconds so the thermometer can get a proper reading on the water temperature 🧐

Mine does this too, I got rid of it immediately. I followed instructions perfectly and the water was still boiling hot despite the green light. Very dangerous product

Mine does this too. Screw lid and automatically comes on green. Shake bloody thing and still green. Milk hot!

Is there any support for this product ? Cycle isn’t starting when button is pressed and UV lights are coming on when button is held? This happens even when lid is open ?

Hi I know this is a delayed response but maybe someone else has same issue. The lid needs to be closed before you press the button. You press once for a solid light meaning it’s active and once again you press the button to start the sterilisation cycle. Then it will turn to flashing light and you wait 3 minutes until you hear the beep and the light turns solid meaning it’s complete now

I have a crappy travel coffee mug that instead of keeping the heat it actually cools down quicker than it should. I guess nuby found a better use for the technology. Lol I have one and in 2 minutes it shows green (ready) but the drink is still around 45 degrees Celsius. So I left for another 2 min, and I got 41 degrees. Proving to be more effective keeping the heat than my travel mug.

@@amynaismith5671 what I can suggest is one of them kettles that stop at specific temperature. If you need to warm up water to 70 degrees Celsius it would stop at that temperature. It doesn’t cost much more than a normal kettle. It’s just a kettle with thermostatic controls. If you need to boil the water, you could boil a full kettle once and the only warm it up when required. Understand that some prescribed formulas require 70 degrees to sterilise the milk, but 100 degrees would kill all the nutrients. So I think it could work for you.
