Tushar, this is the first video I’ve seen from you, and I wanted to share my thoughts. I came across this video because I often watch content related to financial freedom and retirement. Being in my early 20s (I just turned 22 in October), I’ve realized that many people my age, including myself, have certain misconceptions or unrealistic expectations when it comes to topics like retiring by 30. We often consume content about financial freedom or FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early), especially from US-based influencers. While some Indian creators make similar content, it’s not as common here. As a result, many of us end up getting somewhat “brainwashed” by these ideas, even though they don’t entirely apply to our reality. The truth is, achieving financial freedom or early retirement isn’t as easy as these creators make it seem. When you start something on your own, you need to work extremely hard for at least 4-5 years, and even then, the chances of success might be 50-50, or sometimes even less. That’s why I genuinely appreciate your content. Videos like this help burst our unrealistic expectations about financial freedom and provide a grounded, relatable perspective. As an Indian audience, we can connect with your content much better because it’s based on our realities. I also want to thank you for sharing your experience. I believe you’ve also worked a job in the past, and now you’ve started your own business. Thank you for the feedback. 🙏 Also, the concept of retirement is itself an illusion that doesn't work for people like me because, ultimately, you want to do at least something in life. The enjoyment of exploring the world, partying, and not needing to work doesn't work in real life; it is just an illusion sold to those who dislike their work. But if you like your work, then it is the ultimate thing you want to do, even if you are 90 years old. I will make a video on this topic soon.
