Nice video Snake on how you visualize an opponent and how you drill single stick flow with the 10 counts! Visualization is the key to progress forward in JKD, to be a Pioneer and Perpetuate JKD Concepts! Regardless of if you are solo training, learning from a teacher, teaching a student, training with a fellow training partner or just daydreaming about the what ifs of what you already know or have learned and how to compound upon them! Kinda spells Creativity and Self-Expression!

You have a wonderful and spacious area to work with, congratulations on that. I enjoy the subject of your videos but, for me, they are a bit short. Could and or would you consider posting classes or videos that are 30 minutes or even more?

Paul turns 64 yrs tomorrow which is Oct 23 2023 . He is not that old yet but he has really damaged himself with substance abuse . I wish he could clean up and have another 12 years of teaching in front of him . Also please dont judge his whole program on trapping alone , he has so much more, also he will admit that trapping is not going to look like this in real combat

not sure I have seen your channel before. Very curious as to the walls, looks like a museum for martial arts. I noticed in another video other rooms that seem to be the same. Have you done a video on all the memorabilia hanging everywhere. I'd enjoy that.

@@jasonrudolph491 The martial artists in El Lay like to follow trends. These days it's Gracie and ground-rolling which has no basis in reality. Back in the day it was Bruce Lee, then JKD then Inosanto Academy, then Segal style shit, then Krav Maga, then Gracies and now UFC with his Gracie has an affiliation.

@@jaybone4732 If you know him, will you please pass on my regards to him and send him my best wishes. His RAT training that he taught the Navy Seals was the best training I have ever done. It woke me up from being an Aikido slave for more than 20 years which was making my life very miserable. Pauls training started the Aikido de radicalization process for me and got me on the path of studying Gracie Jiu Jitsu after I took his RAT course. Never looked back. The Kino Mutai (biting) Paul taught me was also mind blowing.

@@acquiesce100 Have not seen or trained with Paul or one of his students in literally ages. But if I ever see him will let him know. A lot of credit goes to him for helping modern martial arts become what they are today. Including the popularity of Gracie Jiu Jitsu. Sad that he made some unwise choices.
