Let's face it, with more weight, brilliant mid engine mounted, extra power and great launching, you can't beat Porsches, especially when they don't tell you their real figures, which are usually better in real world. However, the Corvette C8 is definitely a very competitive car against Porsche! And in my opinion, I like the Corvette C8 more, and it looks better than the Porsche.

The Lexus LFA is such a fantastic car that Lexus ever made! It's legendary V10 is so amazing and has one of the best sounding engines ever! Just imagine if they still made it and it was available with a manual gearbox, or an automatic gearbox with more gears than 6! I love the Lexus LFA so much 🤩

The Porsche Taycan turbo S is a super fast saloon with electric power and real performance! While the Ferrari SF90 is made for real performance and racing and of course, not for carrying luggage and people. Seeing how close they're matched shows what great machines Porsche and Ferrari can be. I bet if Ferrari makes an electric vehicle in the future, maybe an electric Ferrari saloon that I think would be awesome, they'd compete well against Porsche, but not with price and selling much though, as most do love a Porsche, I like both, but I'd choose a Ferrari for fun, but Porsche over a family car.

When it's a manual transmission, the first 2 or 3 gears usually cause the time to go slower. Of course a automatic isn't really going to beat a stick shift, or manual, gearbox. If the Golf wasn't automatic though and manual, maybe the Focus and VW Golf would've been closer. I still love manual cars though!

Both are very evenly matched in their times. I do like the sound of the Ford's engine more than the Honda's engine, but both are great cars. I just find it sad that Ford has had to discontinue the Ford Focus RS and the normal Focus hatchback they made. It's great Honda still makes their civic.

😂 that mercedes did do it's claimed 0-60mph a lot slower than on paper. The Audi though did pretty well. You just can't take out the slow, but rather quiet, launches and top speeds 😂.

Even with no auto dsg just manual the petrol still won and from a dig too !! If it was from a rolling start at any speed the diesel would of lost even more so without its diesel torqe giving it a good launch. The diesel may have the same power as the tsi with even more noticeable torque but to get performance out of mechanical horse power you need to manipulate gear ratios and you can do that with a higher reving engine.

I hear people say a lot sometimes, why buy a Lamborghini huracan with a V10 when you can have an Audi R8 which is the same engine, same gearbox and pretty much the same car underneath? I sort of agree, but you don't get the petrol Particulate Filter on Lamborghini's, at least not yet, giving a more good sounding engine and of course if you can afford it then Lamborghini is worth getting for the looks indeed. I do prefer the V12 in Lamborghini's though, and I wish Lamborghini put a V12 in their Urus like Ferrari did with their SUV, even though Ferrari say its not an SUV 😅

R8 in my opinion was the best supercar considering Price-performance-value-reliability-D.driveability ratio . The first gen came out almost 20 yeats ago and it aged so well without any hints of out date except the limitations of led technology in headlamp that look clumsy from 2006 , the 2013+ model was the pinnacle of design , the (gen2) was controversial because it was so different to its predecessor but at the same time so similar (same design language , integrated head/tail lights with air vents as a single element/ unit , side blades , silhouette , perfect mix of sharp and curvy lines that are harmonically aligned together look at gen2 those curvy lines on the bonnet look insane in spite of sharp oriented design, it’s really a shame that R8 is discontinued and wouldn’t not receive hybrid successor as the huracan is intended to do .Audi nailed the R8 design so well esp. gen1 that the 997 Porsche 911 which is supposed to be a timeless car as any 911 , dating from 2004 looks outdated 20 years after meanwhile the R8 looks futuristic and eye pleasant 20 years after , gen 2 especially those prefacelift a guess also will grow and ppl will become fully fond of , but it will take time .
