I like your videos. In your Esperance video you mentioned" everything is packed out". In my 53 years of travel in Oz I have never seen such movements of campers. And caravan parks are packed to the rim, let alone the price the charge even for unpowered sites. Thanks for the video

Hi there, thanks for the effort on this and all your videos. I really enjoy them, they bring me a lot of joy chillimg on the couch watching videos of the spots I've been and places I'd like to go. I especially love the Charters Towers drive video, lived there for many years so whenever I have a rough day living in the modern world I chuck it on and it takes me back. Keep up the great work guys ❤

I was back in Port Augusta after eight years and stayed there for couple of nights and just got back yesterday. The town hasn`t changed much except some changes in business and the duplication of Joy Baluch AM Bridge. The demolition of the old wooden bridge has started. Anyway, It`s always nice to spent some time in a quiet place. My first visit to this town was thirteen years ago(2011) and we took some some photos at the exact spot to make a then and now pictures. I had some drives around in the town just like what is shown in your video. Thanks mate..!

@@CaravaningaroundAustralia Ahhh yes ofc my bad, So at the end of senate road closest to the smelters slag heaps, theres a whole part of town that has been abandoned, mostly due to lead & then the rest slowly moved with once their street started to look abandoned. these days theres still a bunch of houses but only 1 or 2 residents in the whole area, its only about 10 or so streets, all once filled with lowset mining homes, google maps hasn't photograpphed the area since 2015 but its pretty grim.

Of all the places you have been too how highly do you rate Kingston SE/Rosetown?
@CaravaningaroundAustralia
@CaravaningaroundAustralia 5 ай бұрын
Well that’s a very hard question. Something I have learnt whilst travelling is you have to spend a week or 2 in a place to really appreciate all it has to offer. As this was just a day trip out from Bordertown I only spent minimal time in the area. Kingston SE was a really lovely place, beautiful parks and scenery. We only drove in and around then left to continue our drive. Hope this helps answer you. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍

i love the music choices you make. so many artists out there in youtube land. there's a gaggle of post COV do a lappers - young couples with kids and a dog (why would you take a dog on a lap national parks is 99% of your campsites) and some of the video quality is amazing. dig your font choice on this channel - nice. i cry if i watch the vid of you and your kids - its like a wonder years trailer...your vids made me realise how much i romanticise the outback - most of its crap. like, its half a gorge with a dry creek bed - who cares. then every now and again, you visit a place, like bungle bungles or exmouth, and your realise why it takes 30 days to get to these places from where you live. coz they're special. so many GOPRO young couples doing the lap in OTT rig gear are chucking it in - look at their rigs that's a massive investment to just get over it. I did it in a tent with a 4wd and i had a great time for 1/20th the cost of rigs. how good are rigs - limits you thought some of those vans arent sand friendly. if you're a solo traveller like me i can get into places a rig cant. but yeah - your vids - the hamburger cam on the landcruiser remind me of every trip I've done (some people like the drive I'm realising I'm that sort of cruiser the drives as important) and ive romanticised the outback and i was going to move to it but i dont think i should now its too extreme - visit not live near - but there are some gems...love this channel.

Yeah it’s been a while so just flicked thru this again. The music is good thanks for noticing. I try to get stuff that’s not that head banging headache creating type. Something smooth and calming. these videos are great. I've been watching the WA and SA ones. Im in ballina, but, I love WA, so am going to move there, but, the SA vids are making me think about streaky bay... why does anyone live in cities ? gopro on the cruiser is perfect to make me remember exactly what those places are really like, so, no rose colour romanticising the outback, outback driving is (long gaps of nothing). some place are better to visit than live in, esp places in extremes (cold heat). so while i might want to live in Exmouth, maybe its not the best place to move to...heat rent etc. im constantly struck how theres never anyone walking around in small towns. ghost towns.
