This is genuinely perfect. Been thinking of getting these wheels since someone on reddit suggested them for UK pavements. This video is IDENTICAL to the awful pavements in my local area in Scotland so thank u so much for this video. And I want to learn basic tricks too so 78a probably not for me.

Someone liked this comment so I got a notification for it. These wheels are simply great. 86a , 56mm, perfect for tackling even the bumpiest roads (albeit loudly). Love these wheels

yeah been feeling like my bones are rattling out my fucking sockets on roads in my area hahaha, its so bad i can barely even learn to get comfortable on my board between the steep hills and shit pavement here. heard a lot of good stuff about these wheels though deffo getting some

Yeh they're really good. I've been trying lots of others and I'm planning on following up with a comparison. Been trying out some OJ Nomads, 95A this last week or so. They're super forgiving on rough ground (though not as much as the Clouds), but they feel a lot like just regular skate wheels. If you're better than me, they look like they'd hold up to sliding.

so what is different between 78a n 86a, which more silent? which more no lose speed? which really good for crap pavement?

78 are a lot softer than 86. If you're just looking for smooth rolling, and you aren't worried about tricks, the softer the better. So the 78A would be good for cruising. While I did this video for 86A, they're still a bit too soft for my personal preference, so I've gone harder and use the cloud 92A day to day.

Just migrated my channel to a new name, and part of the process meant that any comment replies I'd left to people below have been removed. Thanks for the various comments, and wheel recommendations. I've tried a lot, lots of 99-101a hard wheels, a bunch of the softer cruiser style wheels in the 70-85 duro range, and then these Ricta Clouds - the 86 and 92, both of which I love. They're much more like "normal" wheels than cruiser wheels and let you continue practicing flat ground tricks while still making it around on shitty UK pavement. I've got a few more videos planned comparing equipment. Which will be up once I've started filming again (I've had to take a few months out for a broken arm from skating..)

Just got these wheels in a 55MM the other day. So far, so good. Had the 78A previously and the 86A are much better to my liking. Thanks for posting mate

what did you like more about them, im thinking about getting some cause i have some 78a's right now and they are a bit too slippery on concrete

@@timnavarro8961 hey man, I feel like we all have different results lol. The 78A and 86A are both great for cruising to me and doing the occasional flip tricks. They have a lot of grip but hard to powerslide in. These Rictas I just use for cruising since they go a bit faster and can go through pebbles, twigs etc. but I switch out to Spitfire conicals when I hit skate parks.

im also a bigginer in uk, I got the 78a ricta, I cant do much flat ground tricks, but for the brick walkways its pretty great. 86 seems like a good mix for that and flat tricks.

Literally ordered some 56mm 78a's a couple days ago as well cause I was fed of of going 2 meters after pushing for 5 minutes, the pavements over here are a joke lol
