Hello Haywards Heath Baptist Church. Great content you got there. I think all this channel needs is a little push to get things moving. I can help with that. My info is on this very channel I'm using to comment.

If Jesus died for our sins, why do we suffer in this crappy man made world only to face FURTHER effing judgement ... when and if he finally shows his ugly man face??? WTF was the point ... how did he die for our SINS??

The Kingdom of God draws near in the coming of the Incarnate Word. It is announced in the Gospel. It is the messianic Kingdom present in the person of Jesus, the Messiah.Christ gave his Apostles the work of proclaiming the Kingdom, and through the Holy Spirit forms his people into a priestly kingdom, the Church, in which the Kingdom of God is mysteriously present, for she is the seed and beginning of the Kingdom on earth. In the Lord's Prayer ('thy Kingdom come") we pray for its final glorious appearance, when Christ will hand over the Kingdom to his Father.

Well, I would say with an afterlife this life actually becomes meaningless, especially if that afterlife is then also eternal. This live would hold no value on its own, and thus to have any meaning in this life one has to reject the claim of an eternal afterlife. Life is about living it, just to wait for an afterlife is completely wasting this one and only life we got. Nietzsche said much, and for most of the stuff also the completely opposite as well. Anyway, he is not an representative individual for atheism. Usually he has more appeal with nihilists, but like I said, he also said some things that are not indicative of that worldview either. And well, Nietzsche did not just talked to the atheists there, since he also looked at Christians and their death cult as people who killed the idea of a living deity, of giving life a meaning that lies in the here and now and not is some death realm. So, I am an atheist who sees value in the world. But I think my life, this life is only precious because there is no deity, no afterlife, but it is all I got. And since people mourn those that died, I would argue that we all know there is nothing more after this life, and thus it is sad that we will never meet the people again who are gone and they will not have more time to enjoy life. Nietzsche never said there was a choice, nor do I think that how people look at life is a choice. People who believe in deities cannot simply choose to not believe in them any more, nor can an atheist decide to believe in deities. The view in that regard might change over one's lifetime, but it is never a choice. Just like sexual orientation is not a choice. Those things are dispositions, and to try to live against one's disposition usually only leads to massive cognitive dissonance.
