Sadly soon all gas cars will be banned in EU and USA! In France they have a new banning law for ICE cars called SCHLABOUBVE and in Switzerland the HESCHLAVVO law! In Scandinavian countries soon there will be a so called SMORVERBIDEN law. In Germany from 2027 the new BABVVO and TEBBVO laws by the green peoples party will bann all gas cars from public streets only exception will be professional commuter trips and state-certified transports)!!!

I am building a pair of this SLA PRO. I bought the Goldwood 1016 and they look so cheap…have you measured the frequency response of the speakers? I would like to use the speaker for Dj music, and also to amplify some mics and guitars, but looking the tweeter, I don’t know if they going to last…Btw, the eminence alpha look very good constructed.
@TerdFurg3zon
@TerdFurg3zon 3 жыл бұрын
I have not measured the completed speakers yet. I agree that the initial quality of the Goldwoods appears cheap. Molded ABS always has that feel to it. All I can say there is they will require 100% inspection (measure capacitance, check for DOA, polarity, final assembly details, etc.), but FWIW all of the ones I received worked and measured well enough. How long they last is dependent upon how they are driven. No tweeter can stand up to a cooked mix.

I built a pair of BFM Otop12s about 8 years ago which have been used for dj dances and practice mains for a live classic rock band. The Goldwood 1016s have held up well. I thought they sounded a little "tinny" so I rewired the cabs to split the highs and mids and used a DBX Driverack to tri-amp, highs, mids and lows. My subs were a pair of Fearful 15s with just the Eninence Kappalite 15 LF drivers. The tri-amping allowed me to control each, highs and mids in the Otops and lows in the Fearfuls, individually. I have not had to replace one piezo in the 8 years.

I’m thinking about svs sb3000 with them. How don you like them paired with a sub? Have you tried movie’s
@TerdFurg3zon
@TerdFurg3zon 3 жыл бұрын
Like them much better with a sub, but that's a personal preference. Others may prefer a simpler setup. Correctly integrating a subwoofer (like demonstrated here) is not a plug-and-play affair. I would avoid a subwoofer controlled by an app or other DSP at the moment, as at the time of this writing, there's no way to adjust delay (subwoofer distance) in the The Fives amplifier. This is a business system with no TV, so no movies have been tried.

Valve claerance is 0,30 mm on the valve stam and cold engine. Camshaft removal is only possible bij removing the head. With a special tool you can press down the rockerarms and remove the cam forwards out the head.
