Hi Jesse. I watched your video carefully it was inspiring. I have one question regarding height of arrow and D-loop. You placed them slightly above. There is only a single point on the string where you can place arrow nock and that nock will travel in a straight line. If you place the arrow above or below this point, the nock will travel in an arc. I understand that placing the arrow nock above or below this point can improve aiming stability, but it causes porpoising, i.e. it worsens the flight of the arrow. The arch cannot by straightened into the line by height of the rest because the rest does not affect the movement of the string and therefore the movement of the nock Does it matter? Thank you.

Good videos Jesse. Miss the days hanging out with you and your dad up at your shop when I went to school in Frostburg. That blue ProElite gives me PTSD from getting my ass kicked on league nights at Cumberland Bow Club. Take care man

Jesse is definitely one of the best (and that has nothing to do with how great a shooter he is). On that note i need to save this on my phone for the next time i hear someone complaining that if they had better equipment they would kick butt, shooting left handed with a way short dl and jesse was a 1/2 inch away from the ten on his second shot...........

What serving do you normally use for your center servings? I’ve heard you mention you like to re-do yours and I was wondering what your favorite material is. Also, what size do you typically use?
@jessebroadwater2 жыл бұрын
BCY power grip is my choice… and I like a looser nock fit… most times my serving is .107”

Most people set the arrow to be centred on the Berger hole but you set it higher. What's the thinking on that?
@jessebroadwater2 жыл бұрын
More times than not on these Hoyts, or any other bow with the grip in a similar location, people will aim better with the loop a lil higher. But it’s definitely something you want to play with on your own, and see what works best, because there are a lot of variables to come into play.

Interesting to see the parameters you can actually play with. I have never investigated the effect of running the arrow high like you do here (or low) but now I want to.
