When I first heard about this musical I was like oh cute I'll watch but I didn't expect to be crying at the end. Also Fun Fact: This was the first musical that I actually cried to (Full on tears) Especially when the physicist (I forgot his name) put the grave down. 😭

Fun fact i just firgured out this morning; if HIV/AIDS is a STI, that means either marvin or whizzer already had HIV but didnt know (probably whizzer had it first since it affected him first), and passed it on to the other. Marvin probably died shortly after the show ends

i saw somewhere that its 9 1/2 months. marvin rounds up because he enjoys being in a relationship and wants it to last, meanwhile whizzer rounds down because it makes them seem less attached and doesn't enjoy monogamy as much, hence the ("in fact we've almost survived a year") "yes but who is counting?"

ik i’m like a year late but on the wiki it says they were together for 10 months but for the 1st month marvin wasn’t divorced so whizzer doesn’t count it

@thegreatezazawalter I also saw somewhere that the time that they actually were "seeing" each other for ten months, but for the first month Marvin and Trina weren't divorced yet, so Whizzer refuses to count that month. I like how both of these pieces of information interact. Initially, saying they've been together for less time seems like a detached move on Whizzer's end (and I think he wants it to look that way), but it's actually motivated by feelings he refuses to admit he has. (Jealousy toward Trina and Marvin's relationship as well as a love for Marvin that goes beyond physical intimacy and monetary gain).
