Do you know for sure? I was not able to do it. (I might manip a Helper to get Magic to give me a mix to get UFO at the boss battle.)

@@PeppyCracker I managed to replicate it and confirm it's possible. I got it by holding left, pressing b for 1 frame after 10 to 13 frames of visible movement, then starting to hold up on precisely after 17 frames of visible movement. This lets you land all 7 hits with one beam.

Fortunately ice also works. I figured you could *kinda* go for this in any% if all 3 kirbys had useful abilities, but since UFO movement is useful for pre-stone movement it's not really worth.

Yes, Ice works but it is difficult. In my testing, in TAS, it is best to call Fire Helper. Only 3.5 sec slower is just mixing Fire yourself in the previous room. UFO is even slower, mostly because it had to be ditched and gotten again (See kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5zQYWyfmJdqd5Y ).

Just checking, would missile be faster or is base movement better? I use it in my all sprays memerun since you can access the right-side of the room when coming out of the snow spray section.

Missile has movement speed 690 and base Kirby in midair has 504 (476 when running on the ground). Can you explain in more detail the route you have in mind? Do you mean entering the room at 00:14 from the top door with Missile? Or do you mean at 00:37, to reach the top with Missile?

Ah, nevermind I see the problem with my route. For all sprays, you simply prioritize the snow spray, then exit back into room 209 (00:37) and ride missile past the bomb block and up the right side of the room before moving on to the grape spray. However for 100%, you can't go back down without reloading the room and hitting the bomb block again.

When at the section in the video, search for hex 0x28 in WRAM. In a quick test I did it was address $0993. Change it to 0x4C. Or you can use the Super Mario Land editing tool "Land Forger" to change a power-up. It will not allow you to set it to 0x4C, but you can find the difference between the original and the edited ROM and edit the value to 0x4C in a hex editing program.

Cant believe I finally found this song...I used to hang out in my uncles camper with him and he would just leave this song blasting through his hifi stereo system. Hed do nothing else but sit quietly next to his speakers and throw back a few beers while listening to this. Id just sit quietly and do my homework while he sat their with a glazed glassy eyed look on his face, like he was in another place and time. Sometimes hed quietly cry. Any time I tried to comfort him he would just quietly shush me and tell me "They were real" and then hed go back to drinking and listening to his music.

I really hope more people get to watch this masterpiece of an anime. It's the first anime to make my cry more than once. The characters, the settings, the story. Man, I really want to give it a rewatch. It will forever be one of my favorites ever.
