Ron has taken over the club and demoralised the fans, isolated and abused the stadium. You are victims of his behaviour. He and his family are using you in order to own a chunk of Southend

The club needs dissolving. You can’t trust a property developer. He sounds like a communist dictator. Very odd too how Nile ranger was coddled. If he were white would he get such cuddling?

I don't think people appreciate Ron's time and money in this club throughout his life, if money is all he's looking for, he would've sold the club a long time ago and focused all his time and effort in his property development business, save himself the stress and battering and take early retirement (he's 67 this year!!!). Ron has real love and belief for the club and like any other entrepreneur, he's doing it just because he wants to, because financially, owning it hasn't been making sense for him for a long time. If not for Ron, this club would have been long gone, no one else would invest in this club and have the same care, attention and patience for it! And the haters wouldn't have anything to complain about! You should all be grateful to Ron! How can you be so rude to someone who's been keeping the club you love going for decades!?! Talk about being entitled, if Ron's haters were in his shoes, you guys would've buckled and sold the club in a day!

I completely agree with the Chairmans comments on wage investment, above of the business turnover. This is investment in higher wages in order to invest in the future of the club for both on and off the pitch. What supporters do not understand is that football is a business in the modern era and that there must be a balance of the off the pitch sustainable business with an acceptable on the pitch results. What I do not agree with is Fossetts Farm, under no circumstance is there any economic justification in a twenty thousand seater white elephant on green belt land, are people so very blind to see that the stadium will be mostly empty on match days and the other business will not create a sustainable income, evidence the center of Southend High Street being so run down and empty, why would a large scale commercial unit on the outskirts of town be any different based on the last twenty years economic situation of the town?, clueless and no sense of economic sustainable reality avoiding concreting over more of our green and pleasant land. Hospitality, for whom?,the thriving Southend commercial business sector? Foolish. Could the recent and terribly sad circumstance of a city status somehow help Southend as a worthwhile business sector? I doubt it, see Vic Avenue wfh trends and would not justify vast investment at this time until the any potential benefit of Brexit / City status is known as its far too early to tell. Also on the point of saving on part of the maintenance cost of the Hall, why the hell would you spend £35+ million to save on part of the cost of the current upkeep?, the payback makes no financial logical sense. The supporters trust should see the new stadium business case and carefully scrutinise any business sector forecast as it cannot be realistic in any way. The chairman seems genuine in his interest and love for the club, but us Blues fans must get real and realise that SUFC is a small seaside club which is heavily undermined by town residents commuting to the far more attractive Premier league clubs within an hour and nothing more. Clearly his aim, understandably is to recoup part of the significant loss whilst setting the club up for the future but as we've seen with other club investments saddling clubs with large scale loan debt based upon longer term financial stability which is linked to in the pitch performances is a highly risky, just look at Spurs such a happy supporters group. Stopping the current rot, getting back into L3 and stabilisation is essential but 50% of the area is mud banks and a large proportion of residents prefer to watch the Prem so let's all stop dreaming. Most of the questions raised are idiotic and just add fuel to the fire and not helpful to responsibly improve the terrible current situation, some of these individuals should not represent SUFC such forums. Roll on conference stabilisation with hopefully Ron in charge, whilst reducing the huge wage structure and let's build upon this at the Hall over the next 3-5 years.

When asked about the negative connotations of not paying players on time, court hearings with HRMC and embargo’s why did Ron state that in his opinion this did not have a bearing on the clubs reputation and the ability to sign players. In another Zoom meeting I listened to, I clearly heard Stan Collymore state the opposite to be true and our reputation in the game was in the gutter? So which is it? I know which my moneys on!

@@krob2327 Re my post on the other video. I posted that comment a year ago before his eventual appointment. I’m not defending him against any critique. At that time I believed he genuinely cared about the club and was well positioned to be a positive addition to the management team. A view echoed by many. I apologise for my articulacy, perhaps if you read my post again you will understand your assertion is the nonsense.

What an absolute waste of 1 hour 30mins, the arrogance of Ron Martin is unbelievable. It was just him telling you I’m great your lucky to have me and without me there is no football club. Well before you we were a league club certainly weren’t in this much debt and owned the ground we played in, this Cancer of a man needs to be cut from our club.

If I’m honest apart from some big own goals from Ron with regards to attitude at certain times, I think he spoke pretty well, there’s lot of hurt surrounding our league position and the travesty on the pitch, and anger has built to such a pitch that Ron is the natural point of anger, but call me naive by all means (I’m worried about being that myself) but I can’t see how he is not being honest and I do agree with the stadium situation and long term benefits, what Ron and Tom need to do is have a much better communication strategy, outlining IN LAYMEN terms what is going on and the benefits of his vision, thanks to everyone for providing and sharing this P.s his STUPID “idiot” comment while suicidal I think he was trying to give a passionate ironic statement and didn’t mean it how it came out, either way stupid comment

Not the first comment he’s made, few videos ago he swore at me, now that in itself is not an issue but from a chairman of a professional football club? That he knows is being recorded? Total lack of class

Just like to add to Tom I am one of those who paid season card by finance. I love my football. I have followed blues for 40 years . Had to borrow money to do this year. So a black mark.. 50 only I question.. Show me the evidence... You as a club could have stopped me supporting my team......

I’ve been waiting for this upload in anticipation of learning what happened with Stan. Whilst his name was mentioned there was no explanation as to the sudden disengagement between him and the club. Can anyone shed light on this? After his zoom call I was very excited at the prospect of his involvement, he touched on areas in which he could assist that I hadn’t even considered and I’m very disappointed that there appeared to be a fall out. After three years of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory is this yet another fumbling of a positive opportunity?

Have to say i think this meeting has answered a lot of fans concerns especially around the concerns of revenue streams that the new stadium would bring as Ron has been vague on this in past. Glad to hear that there does seem to be some preparation for next season already. If only the club addressed these concerns in the official statements, would have cooled the anger around the club in my opinion
