I can imagine that Think about it, Link, or rather many versions, are supposed to be knights, right? And Link isn't really the type to give up due to some sort of injury

From a ui perspective it makes more sense for a videogame character to be right handed because most people are right handed and most games have a ui designed around right handedness, so it would look/feel awkward to suddenly play a left handed game.

@Dan43312 yeah you know what else is weird/awkward having to do something with your non dominant hand when your naturally left handed everyone else could have suffered for one small moment of gaming when lefties have to deal with bumpintiinto someone at shared desks when writing or trying to use scissors properly or and hear me out they could have just not as motion controls are a stupid and frustrating gimmick that is rarely if ever done right

​@@Dan43312 which hand is the dominant one for a character has literally no impact on gamplay whatsoever (exept for motion controls). If it did Link would have stopped being left handed way sooner, or at least someone would have complained about it.

@@dudegal it would look odd and play differently from most other games. You’d notice immediately. It wouldn’t ruin your gameplay but it may be distracting, more so in first person games than third person. Imagine if in Minecraft the left hand was the main hand and the right was the off hand. Or in fps games if your gun was on the left side when not ads. It would look weird. Nothing against it personally, but it would be distracting.

​​@@DemonicLeo13 you are completely overreacting. Yeah it sucks to have a work space next to a right handed person but that effects them as well. And while it can be a bit annoying that most things aren't made with left handed people in mind, 99% of the time its barely an inconvenience. It was cool to have a gaming Icon be left handed and it would definitely be nice if he was again, but him being right handed is not some personal attack on you.
