I know most. people hated Beth and Jerry fighting, but i always loved. it was the perfect response. to Rick and morty's adventures. All Rick and Morty adventures leave feeling like nothing matters, but with Beth and Jerry every. little. fucking. thing. in their marriage matters

Frankly, this show is such a two-bit soap opera joke. The character of Lorenzo is nothing like the grippingly charismatic and brilliant actual figure. The whole show just fell flat. It’s easy to see why it didn’t inspire much clout and wasn’t renewed.

It wasn't renewed because it ended lmao. The last episode is Lorenzo's death. His son Piero is called "Piero the unfortunate" they're not going to make a season 4 about him.

4:09 I missed this one when i actually watched the show, but this line is just the actual peak of selfesteem if you think about it - he doesn't need to know everything to feel good and confident, he already does that. Which i don't think i've seen anybody do, they always show this stainless hero, that does everything on screen either impecably or close enough to the impecably while showing only the "cool" flaws. Not that i want more of that in media(if anything i want to fiction to stay just that -fiction), since it woudn't make for a very good trope probably, but it's just something nice i missed the first time around.

If you know Russian history then you would know it was because of people like Claudia and the other KGB agents are the reason why the USSR collapsed. Gorbachev tried to fix the problems of the USSR and season 5 of the Americans highlight some of the problems the USSR was facing prior to Gorbachev leadership. There was just too much corruption within the Soviet Union government that Gorbachev had no other choice but to end it. Well at least that’s what Gorbachev felt that it was beyond corrupt that it couldn’t be saved or fixed anymore and the best solution would be to end the Soviet Regime and dissolve the USSR and let each country form its own new government regime. The KGB and other members of the communist party really did try to stop and overthrow Gorbachev out of power and keep the USSR exactly how it was. Look at Putin the current Russian President who has been in power since 2000. Putin was a former KGB agent who probably most likely was part of the group that tried to stop Gorbachev and when realize they couldn’t they then capitalized on the collapse and were able to consolidate power to gain control.
