Totally understandable. … but it is definitely the case that, once you find out what the words are… you'll feel silly. (or not?) She sings like this in another song… i can't remember which at the moment… but it seems to be a character/persona? An evil narrator type of story telling kinda guy? Idk? I LOVE IT! I didn't understand it either… but once i learned… it's one of my favs! You should read up… they're (the lyrics) pretty cool. Good messaging. Thank you, for sharing!

I’m no apologist for Apple but, on a point of interest, it’s not Apple that restricts your use of the Zoom h2N as an SD card reader but Zoom. Apple does not have an 8-character limit or any problem with mp3 etc. Aside from that, the h2N can be used as an excellent audio interface with iOS devices and, with some fiddling, Mac desktop and laptop computers. Inexpensive and great sound, what’s not to like

Hey mate! Nice video! I'm a bit stuck however. IMy don't AX53 mic has just died. There's no external damage, but somehow the mic doesn't detect any audio at all. Any thoughts or ideas? I've had it for a while, but happy to open it and poke around
@LegacyStudio

Huh, well frankly the internal microphone is nothing to call home about. I use an external mic I put on the cold shoe and plug in to the mic port on the side. So if I was to direct you to my advice, it would be to buy a nice Rode shotgun mic (rode micro, something small and similar.) and invest the money you would spend to replace the audio module and instead plug in an external microphone that will give you a much higher quality. The less you need to assemble and disassemble it, the better in my book... I hope that helps!

Unfortunately the analogue input is dead too!! So weird. My next step is to go and test it with a Sony mic that connects through the multi interface hot shoe and hope that works. @@LegacyStudio

Wow, that sounds deeper than just the microphone. Sounds like the way it processes audio is shot. I wouldn't know what to tell you there. It's easy enough to change a peripheral, but if its deeper than you may be looking at a new logic board/processor. That would be a bummer and probably cost a pretty penny too. Not that it wouldn't be worth replacing but that would be unfortunate... (Worth celebrating if you fix it ;0) Keep me posted!

What’s the difference between between the 560as and the 480ls I’m so confused as to which is better to get
@LegacyStudio
@LegacyStudio 5 күн бұрын
These days there are a lot better options, this video is quite old so see if there are any better performing options. The main difference especially is the amount of LEDs which with the 560 will give you more light/more lux.

When I do music reactions now, I have moved them over to my music channel "Legacy Music Studio". I still do them from time to time when the ADHD hyperfocus for music kicks in ;0) Thanks for the support and the other suggestion would be to run over to our discord where a lot of other suggestions and vote up some of your favorites.

I was always under the assumption that DRG was a Minecraft/Satisfactory/Fortresscraft type survival game. At least this first mission though almost gives it more of a Timesplitters 1 or Warframe vibe. Will be interesting to see how things progress from here.

While I'll always praise someone for finishing a game and putting it out into the world - that is no small feat - it is important to not rely on what you think might be common sense or intuitive. This is especially true if you're launching it to an audience that is primarily made up of people who may not have the same native language as you. This is really rough and neigh unplayable. Normally I would write this off as a low-effort asset flip, but the intro disclaimer makes me think this was an honest attempt from someone who has never made a game before.

Hmm. Thats interesting and something ive never heard about before. The inability to understand lyrics in songs easily. I think i might have the same thing. I can listen to clean singing in my language english and just not understand them unless i read them. Is that about what you experience?

They don’t sound like any other band! When I was young, I hated main stream and any kind of pop. I loved bands that were doing things nobody else was doing. This was a great party and dance song! This period of my life was so fun and rebellious to what the main stream offered.

Can't add anything about Aja that has not already been said by others. But if you liked Wayne's sax, check him out with the Stevie Wonder of Brazil, Milton Nascimento ... recommend "Caxanga" and "Miracle of the Fishes". I also notices you wearing a Missoula Smokejumpers shirt. That for real? I was a TTO for three summers in the mountains of Arizona ... and though JMHO, Lahaina was not torched by a 'grass fire'. Lots of strange stuff going down. Wish I could return to those days when even 'popular' music was worth a damn.

Tim, I think that instrument that you were hearing that you didn’t quite like and called them the marimbas is actually the Vibraphones, And that sound is very familiar to those old old enough to remember people like Lionel Hampton who were big Vibe players back in the day . gotta love Steely Dan. This song came out when I was a freshman in college and it blew everybody’s mind
@8upwithit
@8upwithit 4 күн бұрын
I’m going to disagree with you about the marimba. That was, in fact, a marimba. The vibes have a more clear and sustaining sound, as they have brass bars, as opposed to the marimba, which has rosewood bars. That’s the kind of “woody” tone that you hear on this recording.
