My first thought about the salary discrepancy between first aid responders and celebrities and sports athletes is that the former are many and the latter are few, so its impossible pay the first aid responders well. But then I thought, in a given state, what about if everyone that paid the concert tickets and sports events paid to a fund for first aid responders, then they might get a better salary. But they will not get benefits from it most likely. Although seems a better thing to do. But still that is what we do in the taxes. The taxes are supposed to pay them (and also the teachers). And we pay a lot of taxes!!! I guess we need somebody to do a breakdown analysis of the government funds to explain why teachers and first aid responders get paid so little.

I realized 99.9% of you people will not listen to this because it has to do with God but if you'll just listen a little starting at 15:33 to the end you may walk away a little wiser if you are not blind as a bat and stupid.

The story around 22:00 is amazing. Makes me want to read about the psychologist Viktor Frankl. My father who passed away talked me frequently about him. Frankl being a survivor of the Holocaust should have a better perspective than usual on psychology after that experience.

Good point at 11:00 about drugs. This modern issue which I would not like to name, is like a drug addiction but they do not accept it. They see it as an identity. Imagine if drug addiction is seen as an identity that we need to accept. The difference is that in drug addition people die sooner and they stop being economically productive, and because of this is harder to defend. But the other issue people remain economically productive for a long time, which makes it harder to argue against. We as Christians know their deadly spiritual effects.

Father Jeff is one of the best. He married my husband & I and later baptized our son in Belle Rose. My niece was an alter girl and nephew was an alter boy for him at that time. Father Jeff is very dedicated and has done so many wonderful things in this life and helped so many. He is truly here to serve God. God bless!

I liked the comment at 11:20 about the common phrase of women's right over their bodies. The rights of a person ends where the other person rights begin. I have rights of privacy to my backyard, but that does not give me the right to kill a neighbor if they decide to step into my backyard. Same with unborn babies.

I heard the prayer mentioned at 26:00 for the first time in "Enter Sandman" song from Metallica. One of their group members might have a Catholic background.

I loved the comment at 21:10. I started to believe that inheritances are from the enemy. Unless a son/daughter is in need, the inheritance should go to charity or the person should spend it. My father who passed away left almost nothing, just a car. And that car caused issues in the inheritance. I have seen personally people inherit much more an cause very bitter problems between siblings. The best thing parents do for their children is not inherit, or if they do, constraint it for education, or something like that.

The pro choice argument never made sense to me. Women do have the choice to have a relationship with a man or not. Once that they have taken a choice, they can't undo that choice by killing a baby. I think this is for the most common cases.

I agree with what Father Jeff says at around 20:30, there is the sin of omission. We mention it in every mass. And it similar to to the passage in the Gospel when the rich man asked Jesus what he needed to be perfect. The rich man avoided evil all the way, but failed doing the good.

For the point at 26:50 one of the biggest culprit is Disney, whom through its internal leaked video of a company meeting (from Christopher Rufo) they caught more than one revealing the agenda to promote the LGBT ideology to children. One of them said explicitly that everyone knows her "no so secret gay agenda". And from recent movies from Disney its obvious they have not changed since then. Even if the movies do not make money, it is more important for them to propagate this message. I think parents need to boycott Disney for the safety of their children as mentioned in Father Jeff's video.

It is good that Father Jeff pointed out how wrong the horrible idea of test driving for a marriage is. People are not merchandise or objects to use! The story about the husband losing her wife at old age is very inspiring. I agree this could help couples understand more about love. But sadly these days people understand more love as eros, rather than agape or even philia. The priest in my wedding asked us to watch movies about marriage. That can help as well.

Thank you for calling out the doomsday prophets. I remember back in the mid 90's they talk about 1999 being the end of the world with Nostradamus. Terminator 2 predicting it will be in 1997. Then came 911 and they were mentioning Nostradamus again. Then came the 2012 movie. This never stops. I totally agree that we should focus how we live rather than the end of the world. Most likely our personal end is going to come before the end of the world.
