Ok...hold on. So, the Minwax Polycrylic first on the raw foam, then the paint? Or, paint it first then the Minwax to seal it? That wasn't clear.

Looks fantastic. Looking at the drop mechanism on legend hobbies it doesn’t really show how to mount it. I might buy the P 47 from FMS and replace the static bombs with ones that can be dropped. . By the way, you know you’re going to make those fuel tanks releasable so let’s just get on with it. Thank you for all your great videos and pictures. I have learned a lot.

Love the details, especially the intakes behind the canopy for engine start. I just built the RBCkits T33 90mm that you can see on BDTENNESSEE KZbin channel. I may implement the same intakes behind the canopy. Happy thanks giving

I love the collection 👍I'm betting, if you're an F-86 lover like I am, it's likely you're a P51 lover as well... I'm just guessing. However, I am not seeing any in the hanger. I'm also a huge lover of the F4 Phantom. So, those are my three Top Flyers. That's not to say there aren't other I like, I'm just saying, my top are: F-86, P51, F4 in that order. ✈🥰

There use to be a tool available for doing rivets called Rosey the Riveter but they stopped making it I guess.... Been trying to find one for years. Basically a tool with a small wheel that you would just roll and left impressions of rivets.....

Currently spraying minwax on my Kingfisher 1400 and stumbled on this vid. Great info! This will help my next project for sure! For anyone wondering, the spray is going on really well so far. Spraying over the top of my paint. But I definitely didn't put this much thought into it. 💪🏿

Thabks for video om doing this modification to mine as well tha k yoy. Your very well educated and know your stuff. I been into planes for 5 years and still learninf something new everyday. My first planes was all balsa when i was a kod and flying back in mid 2000s and if i jad the foamies lile there is now i would have a easier and cheaper learning curve. I love the foamies they have these fays look amazing and scale and all the technology to help male them fly more stable in wind and male them look more realistic is crazzy. I still love my balsa planes but i also love the foamies especially after a high gloss paont job using your painting style but i make my pwn graphics with hige vynil plotter and printer and print and cut monokote like i would regular vynil for cara and trucks and ect

Thank you for thos video ever since i saw this video 4 years ago i been using your same technique since and i have been told o have the most beautiful foam planes they have ever seen from.other ppl at fly ins and clubs. I make all the graphics my self with a vynil plotter o have a 60 inch plotter and a 40 inch vynil graphics printer and i can print and cut anything inwant onto monkote to keep it as light weight as possible cause paint and poly weighs a good bit and then all the decals if o ised vynil liwk i woild on cars would ne heavy so o ise monokote lile i wpuld vynil to make my graphics and schemes

On a maiden you should have someone doing the trimming while you focus on flying. Make it a bit easier for you. When maiden my EDF I used cross trims if I'm flying alone this why I don't have to hunt for the trim switches. Must easier for me. What was the battery like after the flight?
