From my experience, having supplied them objective evidence, the UK GMC is so systematically corrupt, they positively are the enablers that allow dishonest and corrupt Doctors continue to practice. With the present culture and ethos within the GMC, it will be inevitable that future scandals will occur within the UK medical profession. When it will come to light that the cause of the corrupt and dishonest Doctors being allowed to continue to practice and continue to negatively effect patients lives, is this systemically corrupt organisation whose engrained ethos is to protect Doctors over protecting patients. When the next Harold Shipman type scandal occurs, hopefully those that knowingly allowed this ethos to become so systematically entrenched and engrained in the UK GMC, putting defending Dotors over honestly and integrity, will be, criminally prosecuted, loose any titles, loosening all professional and personal reputation. Unfortunately it will take another Harold Shipman type event before any progress may be made in acknowledging and changing the culture within the UK GMC. God bless all god and honest Doctors❤

Hello GMC UK, May I confirm please on the validity of the PLAB 1 results? In short, what is the maximum time limit in years that someone should complete UKMLA 2/ PLAB 2 after passing PLAB 1? Is it 2 or 3 years? Kindly respond.

Part of good medical practice is murder. Don't believe me? Ask Agnesa Mustafa. She murdered a KCL 4th year medical student with a zombie blade. And Agnesa Mustafa is now a practicing doctor with 8 years of experience under her belt. Dr Mustafa also got published in the Lancet. Good job GMC, you really ensure that you got the safest doctors! Bunch of disgraces.

Getting excited at the thought of working outside your scope of practice is absolutely horrifying. This speaker is advocating tricking patients into accepting treatment by taking advantage of grey areas in policy documents-this is incredibly unprofessional. Getting excited at going outside your scope shows that you clearly have no insight into your level of competence. You're Dunning-Kruger in action. The fact the GMC is supporting is goes against the entire reason the GMC was initially formed-to protect the public from unqualified people claiming they were medically qualified as doctors. And now they are wholeheartedly supporting misleading the public and standing behind this? It's dangerous, unethical and the British public will be harmed. The case of Miss Chesterton will be repeated countrywide.

I say let all these clowns into the operating theatre. Just means more private work for me. I’ve had a huge influx in patients because they’re terrified that a noctor will be present. Probably the only decent thing the GMC has done. My private waiting list is through the roof so I’ve quit the NHS and have never been better! Though I do understand that current trainees are being completely screwed over. To those, I’d say, leave the UK, do your training elsewhere and come back if you really want to.

@Bryannaleigh7 ай бұрын
The audacity for the speakers to say they are expanding the scope of practice simply by using a loophole, the audacity for the GMC to actually publish this when it is its duty to safeguard patient safety. The GMC should also work to just scrap medical school and advertise this "learning on the job and little book work is extra" if this is safe enough for them.

@@xSabinx1The first speaker, Lee Varney working at UCL hospital in London is not a Doctor. So it follows he has not done the subsequent long & arduous academic training done by qualified anesthetists. Instead he is unregulated and appears to spend his time looking for loopholes to circumvent the guidance on patient safety so that he can work on moribund patients unhindered. I have no idea how the issue of patient consent is implemented but I suspect he searches for 'grey areas' on that issue too. This is as disgusting as it it dangerous & terrifying
