I think that is the best thing about him, his unique voice, I can't believe he felt that way.

This is a lovely and informative discussion of the creative process and the work ethic of true music professionals. David Cassidy was truly a one of a kind talent. John Bahler's commentary here is insightful and filled with the positive energy of an artist.

I really LOVED THIS, is this whole interview on KZbin, as well??? David has the most beautiful, sexy, unique, passionate, mesmerizing voice ever in music!!!, and the fabulous, wonderful Partridge Family songs, with the writing, the arrangements, and the best musicians in the world), and a small handful of songs David wrote, in the same style, and a few others, were his best songs!!! His voice was unique in all the world, and the most BEAUTIFUL!!! It is a shame he didn't appear to see it.

TPF albums so were so well written and produced. I still enjoy them to this day. Tony Romeo was a awesome lyricist, David's voice, and the talented studio musicians make TPF stand the test of time.

The story I had heard was Danny was not getting along with Jeremy. Also, Danny would say to Brian "How Come The Girls Like You More Than Me??" Brian replied and said to Danny, "It's because I am cuter than you"

David Cassidy had a beautiful, velvety voice that also had a wide range. He could really sing anything - and he was really good. David Cassidy was blessed with so many musical talents and played several instruments to perfection. Unfortunately, he was used at the time to simply bring a lot of money to the music industry and when he rebelled and wanted to shed his image, he was dropped. He was then content with smaller labels, but was not always lucky with his choice and thus disappeared from orbit. This is a good interview!!! RIP David Cassidy

Well the thing is a lot of us teenagers are now up in age I won't go for a how up in age but I loved him till the day passed away and then I cried and cried for days and weeks and months on end I still watch The Partridge family listen to David saying concerts and it makes me happy but makes me so sad cuz now we won't hear nothing new from David I wish I could have at least met him kissed him on his cheek and just reveled in the thought of knowing that I met him I could tell you a story about me and my one cousin how we used to beat each other up thinking we were going to be the next Mrs Cassidy but that never happened either one of us got to meet him and she passed away I don't know about 10 years ago and I had my chance when I lived in Florida but I didn't know how to get to where he was in fort Lauderdale but then I came home and about a year later when we got the news that he was in really bad shape and I lit a candle stayed up for nights but I finally my body gave out and I had to get sleep my daughter came in my room with my niece who is also a Cassidy fan and so is my daughter and my grandchildren well they to this day still singing songs they're very young 12 and 11 but she woke me up and she said Mom please don't get too upset and she just brought it out David passed away I lost it like I said for days months I still go do it now every now and then when I see his movies or watch him in concert it was just so sad that we lost him like that I wish he could go back in time and change the things that destroying but he still loved by so many to this day he's got a lot a lot a fan still and I'm one of them and I just turned 64 years old October the 2nd 2022 love to David in heaven let's make this clear David Cassidy in heaven we still love you and miss you

I always suggested to David to mix up his set list to sing some of the older Partridge Family songs and some of his newer songs, but it seemed like all the audience wanted to hear was the older Partridge Family songs and David's older songs.

Great listen, but I always will wonder. Would David Cassidy have been able have to sell records if he was never labeled as a teen idol/Keith Partridge? It seems that was a tag he could never shake and it became such a hinderance. There were so many good pieces he did in later years (When I'm a Rock & Roll Star, Breakin' Down Again - and the OLD TRICK album of the 90s is just solid from one track to the next).

Someone should have told him that his music career WAAAAAAS SERIOUS ! ; his catalog of light pop hits came about the same as all the other pop song hits of that era did -yet often with one major difference : David had true talent , star power, and a heart ....that ever was apparent. Lately, I listen almost daily to Cassidy songs. Upbeat and timeless. Ps, David knew on some level that his career was on a unique path; it's why he turned down the Bowie offer, he obviously had something inner driving him and it was pretty good , intuitive navigating
