I remember a few years ago, me and a friend were just like watching this, then the operator says to us, that they're short staffed and need people to help take the ride down, so if course we said yes, and it took us like 5 hours. But it was worth it cos they paid us £50 each and we got a lift home 😂

Nice video, thanks for posting. I was wondering if it was worth making the trip to Brum to ride this but the video shows it's now in a sorry state compared to before refurb. Slow cycle with less swinging than before and it just looks wrong with four seats to an arm. Think I'll pass.

Certainly get more airtime on maelstrom however they’re pretty hard to compare as one is a theme park ride and this is a travelling ride. It’s the same type of concept, and outward facing swing but they’re very different
