Populous the Beginning... I that game; I have it on PC.

What was it like on the SNES? In terms of Nintendo versions I only have experience with the GB one.

@@sassykosmo1793 similar to what you are playing but I remember there was different kinds of levels like candy and winter. You also had the D-pad so you could scroll easier.

You can find it on Game Jolt these days; it lacks various animations to compensate for older phone/tablet processors, but the dialogue is amazing.

This is a 3D re-imagining of Scott Cawthon's 2016 rpg; I highly recommend looking up videos on the original game for better context, particularily those by DJ Sterf.

I only own the Master System and Gameboy versions physically, but after I tried this version out on emulator (which I have set to PAL, or 50Hz) I remember not liking it too much. I agree with you that other versions are better.

It's always been my most favourite game of all time.

Jeanser Avelino 50Hz refresh rate is 6.59 seconds slower than 60Hz; as such, the music is also slower by default.

I saw videos of the SNES versions of the Populous games, and they look amazing; I used to own the PS1 version of Populous: The Beginning, but I still have the PC version. I also have Populous for the original Game Boy, and Populous DS.

It's what I grew up with, that's why. Also, Sonic is slower because in 1891 a German company discovered that street lighting stopped flickering when the output from power plants was changed from 40Hz to 50Hz; as such, it became the standard frequency across PAL territories.

I accessed it after completing the game; so, I'm not sure if you need to wait until then, or if the game is temperamental about using it in general.

@@vpjayasankar2596 Unlike v4.0 etc, TFF has the full battle; in case of the battle itself though, I recommend concentrating most on Sonic positioning, and where the biggest gap between energy sphere is for ease of avoiding them.

Are you playing this game on a reproduction cart? if so it probably just has something to do with playing the game on official hardware the same thing happens to me with my copy
