Holy Shit...Papa Chubby looks great. Lost so much weight, died his grey hair and killing it on guitar. Way to go chubster.👊 EDIT: 30 minutes later I realize I was watching Jimmy Vivino as Chubby didn't come on until later in the set.

Saw him at Fur Peace Ranch and I think he changed my life. I love this guy. I cried for no reason when I got home. Fugger tore my heart out. Thank you Dave. I think we need more Dave Alvin's in this world now. He is modest. Because he is truly EPIC.

I was assigned to this program from Mar 86 until my retirement in Nov 89. I have a flag flown on the first daylight flight in Nov 1988 that was given to me at my retirement. This looks similar to the film we were shown when we first were assigned to Tonopah Test Range. Thanks for the memories!

In 1982 we received a talk, no pictures, not even a mention it was an airplane. Just used the word stealth technology a couple of times.

Where are these people from? A host I know had an Airbnb that was trashed on a one night stay on the night of the riot. People were coming and going all night. On the next day after check out, they found grinder wheels, baseball bats, tire irons (used to break stuff) and tons of clothes left behind. Also a piece of paper stating nearby homeless houses/halfway houses (probably just got out of prison). These guys were organized and not local to the area. Their intent was to do damage.

ROBERT E. BORGE... Thank you for sharing those REALLY GREAT shots here on youtube for others to enjoy!! I live in Costa Mesa, but was not able to get to the airshow to enjoy it. I did however, have the Red Arrows & Canadian Snowbirds fly right over my apartment which was really great to see! I've never seen anything like that Yak 110! That was something else!
