Great explanation, buddy. One quick question. If you go for a pot, stop the cue ball and miss the pot. Is this a standard foul in both rule sets?

if you mean "nothing touches a cushion after the initial contact" then yes, that's a foul in both rule sets.

Alright ma man, it’s Strachan super fine. They use it at UP. But I’ll probably be going to Hainsworth match after it if I’m honest as it’s cheaper and runs the same.
