Best quote of the entire meeting, at 1:14:30... "Are you suggesting we follow the letter of the law?"... I can't believe those words were said .... Are they not suppose to be upholding the law NO MATTER WHAT THE ISSUE IS?...

They are sick of us coming to the meetings when we know the planning and zoning are working on things. We are going and speaking out at every meeting we can during the time of their confusion where they can't figure out what defines a vacant lot. We are showing the planning and zoning committee and the commissioners we will not stay silent. We will not let people forget with election for commissioners and mayor that will be two years away. I know there are a few of the commissioners I will work hard for whoever runs against them to try and take the seat they hold away from them. Don't just vote for someone who has an R beside their names on the ballot. Learn and know what they stand for and pay attention to what they vote for and don't. Make a smart decision on who you vote for, and do they hold the values you believe in. Thanks.

well i tell you if you care about the people in this county as long as a camper is properly hooked up the right way leave them alone to live there life i own land and if i lose my home i cant aford to pay but the minimum insurance because i am on a fixed income and if i have to live in a camper on my land then i will and i will do what i want to on my land and untill you all start fixing the roads and drainage along the roads dont try to tell me what i can do on my land

The commission needs to require an IQ/aptitude test before allowing folks to speak up at these meetings. I have secondhand embarrassment for some of these people (yins 🙄)

Mr Goins and others needs to quit worrying about bringing more people into the forsaken town. We have a major crisis in this town, we need to stop adding to it for now. Housing, homeless, drugs, trafficking, theft, gangs etc. The list goes on, this is the current crisis here right now in this town. Start doing things to help us with these things instead of being worried about what potential businesses and people moving here think.

I hope the tax paying citizens take a good look at the faces of the people in the background..
